When you get married everything changes. People used to tell me that all the time and I never believed them. I used to work ONLY for buying clothes. I would literally buy something new every week. My cupboard were full of clothing with tags still on them, and some of the items I had forgot that I owned it lol. Now, I can see everything I own when I open my cupboard. I have learnt to donate clothing that I don't wear anymore. Before I would just hoard and feel sorry for my stuff :-) I also prefer cooking over eating out...we do eat out but not half as much as before we were married. I think it's because the leftovers must go for lunch to work the next day. You have more responsibility when you are married and one does learn to save money rather then to just spend because you can
