Without a doubt, Theee Greatest Gospel Group ever.. and theee Richest Bass Voice in gospel music ever. Really neat guys and they set the standard! (have to love the suits!)
Thanks again, Dean, for sharing these things I have never seen or have any way of seeing. I appreciate it. Now, if only some company would release them on DVD. :-)
Where in the world did you get this? I have never seen a video of the Cats doing this song. I saw them in Huntington, WV in 1981, maybe. They walked out and did Jesus we just want to thank you, He's still working on me and then they did this song and tore the house down!! People were shouting all over the place. Then they did Roll away and George just sung the fire out of it. I will NEVER forget that night. Brings back memories. Loved it and hope you have more.
@drummerman31 I think the drummer there is Robbie Willis, who did play occasionally. I wish they had kept their live band from Travelin' Live that included Vic Clay on the guitar. That would have been a great band.
@LABOURSUPPORTER Most of them are, but without Ernie they don't sing "Oh, What A Savior!" and "He Made A Change", two great songs, on written by Ernie.
@Idrink2muchsunslop You know.. that's an excellent point.. cause I LOVE The Inspirations. Truly one of the tightest, under-recognized groups in all of Southern Gospel. ( I think Mike Holcomb grew into a pretty fine bass singer.. but I have to stop in awe at ole George! ) One thing that a lot of folks don't know is just how much time and money The Inspirations give away every year (in secret) to help rescue the perishing and to support their community - all of them Great Guys!
Love those old style conventional gospel songs! Just can't beat them with a stick. Who to sing them better none other than the Cathedrals!
What a great song and testament by the Cathedral's! Love them and I miss George and Glenn so much!

Love that voice of Glen Payne!
Nothing can replace the old southern gospel songs like this.
i've always Loved George's voice !!
I thank God for this group of wonderful singers
I love how all four guys were featured during the song
Wow. I keep mistaking Mark Trammell's voice for Glen's. That part at the end, I didn't realize it was Mark before Glen finished it.
@@StarWarriorCentralI didn’t catch that at first either.
Wonderful Song i Love it
Now that's what I'm talking about! Old time quartet singing..Thanks for sharing!
