I really like using Bluebeam Revu for drawing, marking up and maintaining Master P&IDs, it has completely replaced my old method of using large paper copies for that. One thing that I haven't figured out yet though, is changing the colour of existing lines: I have an existing P&ID (pdf) from the client, and I want to change the line colour of all the lines/symbols within a certain area from black to blue (our colour code for demolition), preferably by simply drawing a polygon that includes the content to be coloured in. And I don't want the background (white) to change its colour. Is there any way to achieve this with Bluebeam Revu (except for creating a snapshot like shown in the video at 19:05)?
Hello, Is the snapshot tool that you are using stil available in Bluebeam version 20? i mean the one that you are using at this exact moment 18:34 i cant find this tool in Bluebeam version 20 i can only find the cut out with rectangle tool but not the cut out with polyline tool that you are using in this video
Hi Vince, thanks for your question. The Snapshot tool can still be found under the Edit menu, located right below the Lasso tool. Unfortunately TH-cam doesn't allow us to share a screenshot, but if you're still unable to find you can also access by using the keyboard shortcut "G". Hope this helps!
17:06 Is there a way to draw those highlight polylines without manually going over each line with a highlight pen? I'm looking to node P&ID's for a HAZOP
Hi Jason, thanks for reaching out. If you're trying to draw a Polyline that also behaves like a highlight, select the Polyline Tool then type Alt+P for the Properties Panel. Next to Fill Color, check the Highlight option. If that's not helpful, we suggest you connect with our support team for assistance at support@bluebeam.com.
Thanks for reaching out! If you're looking to export a tool set to share with project partners, here's a support article that demonstrates how to do that: support.bluebeam.com/articles/how-to-share-tool-sets-2019/. If you're looking for an oil & gas tool set, we do offer a free one you can find here: support.bluebeam.com/revu-extensions/#tab-oil-gas. Hope this helps!

This is fantastic. I would love to get connected with someone that has these P&ID/Isometric Toolsets to share or sell.
