The small gourami looks like an elephant ear giant gourami. I have a red tail and it doesn’t have vertical stripes. Dark grey and white with red tips on all fins

I know gavel cleaning sucks but goldfish usually do a lot of gravel cleaning themselves . . Even though I get why it’s tiled . Goldfish do love to sift through gravel . Mine spend most of the day picking it up and spitting it out . I suppose with the sheer volume of tanks you have to maintain . picking the time saving options has to be done 👍 I look forward to seeing them in their new home

@@mikewind8783 science is great, cohesion. The water under the tile actually holds it down. Each tile acts as a sort of suction cup

Can a Sturgeon pick up a tile like Rays do? We'll have to wait and see. SFMF!
Rays can't pick up the tiles, nor will the Sturgeon. If the tiles are cut tight enough cohesion will make them stick like glue. Have tiles in our 1000 gallon and never popped up 1 time. Had rays and all sorts in there. But we will see
I have 4 tanks!!! MTS 🤣🤣 Wish I could have a 700 gallon tank!! Some day!! Maybe 🤣🤣🤣 doubt my wife would ever let me bring something that big home!! 🤣🤣 So I'll just keep watching OFR untill then!!💪🏼

The tiles in the octagon dog bowl were horrible, but I like these ones. Easy,to clean. Do you have to clean the gravel in the big tanks. Sounds a dire job.
Flat bottom tanks work well. Those dog bones are not flat on the bottom so didn't work too well. But those tanks are sold so, not to worry about anymore

You ever try buffing those acrylics , Lotta work but the result is awesome.
We buff tanks when they need them.. this tank however isn't scratched its just old dirt. Will wipe off when water goes in
Hey big fan of your channel love the videos but was wondering if I use ceramic tile for my tanks is there any chemicals I need to use for the tank because the ceramic tiles have chemicals on it already
With Ceramic tiles all you have to do is wash them after you cut them. All of your natural stone tiles you won't have any issue with either.
Wash them . If you can scrub them with dirty water from another fish tank instead of tap water .

Why not a layer of sand ?
A thin layer is not maintenance heavy cause fish disturb it so waste gets caught up in the flow.
It houses beneficial bacteria.
And the fish can display more natural behaviour.

Not quite, it's called cohesion. Go spill some water on your counter and lay your Id in the water. Same effect. Just on a bigger scale.

Just wondering why you guys don’t paint the bottom of the tanks instead of tiling? Cause crap still accumulates under it and can cause problems plus big fish can move them around not to mention a lot of extra work for you guys 🤔
There's no big fish in that tank so we're good And hardly nothing gets under it we do it so that it's not permanent

would you and your dad sell me a 100gallon fish tank because I have 2 really big goldfish because they are out growing their 75 gollen tank and I have a really big sucker fish and 3 ballua sharks and 2 cichlids and a lot of guppies and they are in the same tank

what size tile would i need for a 40 breeder idk how to measure for the right size i need?
Depends on size you want and each tile brand is a bit different. I usually do 12x12 or 6x6 in smaller tanks. . If you do 6x6 you should need 18 tiles
