I found your instruction very calming and relaxing. I am just getting back to my love of art and have my watercolors out. Ty for the relaxed and encouraging tone of your video 👏
May I suggest a new series theme? How about a continuation of your young hare Dürer recreation? I would be soooo excited to see how you go about trying to copy some oils, particularly Vermeer girl with the pearl earring. 🥰
This was one of my goals for 2022. Thank you. How about marbles or paperweights? I have a glass object collection in my art room and hope to photograph and paint in watercolor.
Thank you for such a detailed and informative video! Also love the sketchbook and have been wanting a cotton paper one that’s 140lb. I’m wondering why you choose Dr. Ph Martin rather than gouache?
Great video thanks Emily, can you also tell me what washi tape you are using? I am finding it difficult to find and wondered where you order yours from. thanks Jenny

Gouache would work too! I like the pure clarity of the Dr pH martin’s white.

I just use Blick artists tape or Artx tape from Amazon.
@@EmilyOlsonArt Great thanks will try Amazon as I find delivery from Blick is slow and expensive.
