So if true sin is unbelief, and we inherited sin from Adam, how do we stop being a sinner if we are all sinners? That's like saying if you eat less Chinese food you will be less Chinese???? Isn't this why Jesus said "it is finished?"

@@BeLov3dMisFit sin is the transgression of the law (10 commandments) we all fall short to the glory of God. There’s a difference in willfully sinning and falling short . That’s where grace and mercy comes in because we have the chance to repent for our sins when we fall short. But through practicing /striving to keep the 10 commandments to best of our ability keeps us from sinning willingly. Christ saying it is finished in its proper context is talking about him fulfilling prophecy that was written about him in the old testament specifically referring to dying for the sin of Israel which was adultery.

Why would you say the Royal law is the 10 commandments and not the 2 that Jesus gave instead?

@@dianna0307 James 2:8-12 mentions that the 10 commandments is the royal law and that if you break 1 commandment then you’ve broke them all which precepts Matthew 5:17-19

@TheRemnantMinstries3 I wish I could speak more thoroughly in person cause I don't believe we are under the of Sinai but under the law of liberty. Thank you for responding.
