The grand jackpot was formerly announced at $1,061+ which is just under the W-2 Form minimum at $1,200 so I don't have to wait for an attendant to pay me.

Most casinos in Arizona have limits in place where if you win over $200, you have to be paid by hand. You aren't taxed on it and no paperwork is filled out as long as it is under the standard $1,200. I thought this was weird as well when I went to some AZ casinos a couple years ago, but it's the way the indian tribes have it set up. I'm sure it has plenty to do with their accounting systems. It does make their attendants work much harder and machines are locked up more often due to it however.
