  • This is a song i found on JWPepper.com, while searching for Timpani music i found, And We Proceeded On, i really like it because its a song that has a changing tempo and has a wonderful upbeat part. My favorite part is at 0:24, because it has a somewhat challenging Timpani solo.
Note: This was just a preview of the song, sorry it's cut short
This fresh composition is an interpretive piece based on the Lewis and Clark Expedition of the early 19th century. Your band's creative performance will be enhanced by the variety of moods achieved compositionally. A majestic feel permeates the opening. Native American motives enter as the journey continues. Of particular note is an expressive section which evokes the rippling water sounds of the rivers they traveled. Solos are offered for flute (or recorder), oboe and timpani. This is an intriguing work with a fascinating story to tell! Well done! - JWPepper.com
