Graha Drishtis and conjunction is always taken from the RASI CHART which is the actual photo of the sky. The bhave uses the Lagna Degree for constructing the house. So it is to be used only for counting the position of planets, to find whether they are in the bhava middle or how much deviation?

The confusion about Lordship happens only in the UNEQUAL HOUSE SYSTEM of doing the Bhava Chart. If you use the EQUAL HOUSE system the lords of each house remain the same in both RASI and Bhava Chart. I will do another video explaining this. The mid point of each house wherever that falls is the point of reference to find which planet rules the house under consideration.

Good question. Do not use the UNEQUAL HOUSE system. for people in higher latitudes this is a problem, though that is the ASTRONOMICAL TRUTH. Use EQUAL HOUSE system instead. Your software will have many options . Choose equal house system to get rid of this situation.

I use the equal house system. The actual ascendant degree becomes the mid point of each house and a house extends 15 degrees on either side. Sripathi system is also popular. All other systems are not that popular.

Sir, This is for Mithuna lagna. The seventh lord Jupiter is debilitated and at 8th house with Rahu in Rasi chart. In bhava chart, Jupiter moved to 9th house. Rahu still at 8th house, Capricorn. So, i have to read like 7th lord jupiter debilitated and at 9th house. Will it cause any issues in marriage life ?
This happens in the unequal house system of bhava calculating method. Use the equal house system and you will not have this problem at all. In fact most Astrologers these days recommend equal house system. Many software allow you to change it. Check out the options.

Sir there kind of confusion with bhav chalit. I have my Jupiter in 9th house in Sagittarius in Rasi chart conjunct moon. But both of them have shifted to 10th house in Bhava chalit which coincides with rasi Capricorn so is my Jupiter debilitated or is there a 'Hansa mahapurush Yoga' happening.
You have Hansa Yoga (one of the 5 Pancha Maha Purusha Yogas). Your Jupiter is not debilitated. Use the Rasi Chart for exaltation, own house status etc and use bhava chart for the house number of a planet ( like your house number).
during saturn major period saturn is situated in 1st house and its move to 2 in bhava chalit then that planet will give result of 1st place and not for 2 nd place? Please confirm. Saturn will give the result of the position in the bhava chart. the confusing part is which bhava chart to use? I use equal house system and some use the sripathi bhava system. I keep an eye on both but prefer to use the equal house system for a particular reason. It has also given me better results. Hence I prefer it.

The above explaination only pertains to the Rasi chart..I am asking because there might be the case where The planets remain the same in the Rasi n Bhava in D1 ; however just by looking at the D9 we cannot term them as Vargottama;do we need use bhava in D9 to confirm Vargottama if they are in the same sign or if they move in D9 then they would not be termed as Vargottam?

These are the grey areas of Astrology. However I use the Rasi chart only for creating the amudha's of any house. But some software uses the bhava chart. I use what worked best for me all these years.

For example I'm a scorpio lagna with saturn in 1st and venus in 10th in Rasi but in bhava chalit venus moves to 9th house and Saturn in 12th house now at my 33rd year I got in to astrology from my ex girlfriend but was western then by research I found kapiel raj and during the end of that year I broke up with my gf and enrolled in to kapiels magha vedic astrology school venus is sitting in the 8th house in ardra in d9 also and I'm in rahu(6th bharani) venus(magha) dasha so I guess all this played out as a venus in Leo but in the 9th house concept of studying and higher education in a more spiritual way ( money issues and technical issues was there in past years when I enrolled in art school and in management school 21st year so I dropped out. Again 9th house theme of higher education )
Also got guru retro in 3rd with moon but moon in chalit moves in sagittarius this makes moon lord of the 8th house with venus in it. I think the chakras are more to do with our spiritual evolution. If the heart chakra is afflicted then the person does not have a good heart. He may have selfish love and have more lust in him. What you said is correct that Sun is the karaka of heart. Affliction to the 5th house may also mean heart problem.

Sir, Your explanation of difference can be better explained three circular figures as under:- 1) Circular zodiac for deciding plantary positions (a rigid grid) (365 days duration) used as a base for janma rashi and janma nakshatra. Also to know rashi adhipathi. 2) Circular bhava with 12 parts (24 hours duration) rotating on its own axis. Used as a base for janma lagna. 3)A rigid bhava (without reference to janma lagna) to know bhavadhipathi. Note:- 1 is to be superimposed on 2 and 3 is to be superimposed on 1. There will be perfect integration of basic concepts for enhanced understanding. Please respond if my view is correct.

Sir, so in that case, this raasi / lagna chart is only to know on which Raasi the planet is sitting and if it is exalted, debilitated or it's in its own house or enemy's house, right? Do we have to use this chart for anything else? Because the rest all aspects and bhava results and other aspects would be calculated from Bhava chart, isn't it?

Let us discuss Sasa Yoga a pancha mahapurusha yoga. Saturn must be in own sign or exaltation coinciding with kendra houses. So we need to have Saturn in the Rasi chart in own sign or exaltation but in the bhava chart in the 1st house or 4th or 7th or 10th house. I hope you got this. The rasi chart shows the zodiac position. One must not refer to zodiac in the bhava chart.

The first part is known from Rasi Chart and the 2nd part of the previous line is known from the bhava chart.

Nirayana Bhava Chalit Chart takes the Ascendant as the starting degree of the first house (zero degree). So you have to read the effect of Jupiter as though Jupiter is in the 5th house whereas Jupiter is in Gemini only. Jupiter is not in the 6th house. You are lucky that Jupiter is in the 5th house instead of the 6th house. Similarly Mars in the 7th house is bad. In your case Mars is in the 6th house. However Mars is debilitated but in the 6th.
use bhava chart for counting the house number of a graham. Period. After that just ignore it. Use only RASI CHART for all other purpose. Hope that answers your question.

Much better explanation than other sites. However, in the example that you gave, it would have been better if you had also explained what happens to power of Jupiter when it moves from 4th to 5th (or 3rd) house in Mesha Lagna in Bhava Chart.
Graha Drishtis and conjunction is always taken from the RASI CHART which is the actual photo of the sky. The bhave uses the Lagna Degree for constructing the house. So it is to be used only for counting the position of planets, to find whether they are in the bhava middle or how much deviation?

Is there any place in BPHS where Mehrishi Parashara talks about Bhava chart and does he anywhere says that we need to +/- 15 degree from Lagna degree to find starting and ending point of First bhava. Please help all with this major struggling topic and misunderstood topic . I see astrologer takes rasi chart as bhava chart. I also find (+/-)15 degree to Lagna which is mid point theory. I also see Lagna degree as starting of 1st bhava and then 30 degree after that.
I believe concept of Bhava chart is most important to understand any concept.

The confusion about Lordship happens only in the UNEQUAL HOUSE SYSTEM of doing the Bhava Chart. If you use the EQUAL HOUSE system the lords of each house remain the same in both RASI and Bhava Chart. I will do another video explaining this. The mid point of each house wherever that falls is the point of reference to find which planet rules the house under consideration.

I believe the bhava chalita chart (of which Campanus is most accurate) represents local space centered on the individual. It represents concrete physical reality (bhu loka). Its importance is mostly seen in transits when planetary energy descends into the concrete world. Think of the bhava cusps as cracks where energy from the zodiacal space (svarga loga and bhuvah loka) comes into bhu loka or this physical world. Powerful life events will happen at that time.
To understand the personality, the bhava chalita can be used as an adjunct or addition to the classical full house system. It is another valid perspective but less elaborate. Think of it as a simplistic snapshot of who you are on earth.
The full house system, wherein each sign is a house, takes the houses which represent the various elements of ourself, and projects them on to the zodiac, the realm of the gods. This is like holding a transparent image of oneself up to the higher spheres of creation and having it illuminated by the light and power of the universe. In that light, one can see the various subtle levels of the individual from the spiritual to the psychological and karmic. It contains deeper information about who you are on multiple levels.
If the bhava chalita chart is a photograph, the full house chart is a professional psychological profile. For that reason varga charts, which look deeper into the individual, should be constructed using the full house system from the rasi chart.

Good question. Do not use the UNEQUAL HOUSE system. for people in higher latitudes this is a problem, though that is the ASTRONOMICAL TRUTH. Use EQUAL HOUSE system instead. Your software will have many options . Choose equal house system to get rid of this situation.

Hello Mr. Dhilip. A question, there are many systems of Bhava chart calculation. I have noticed differences in certain softwares. & heard names such as Nirayan and Sripati. Which system do you follow/prefer?
I use the equal house system. The actual ascendant degree becomes the mid point of each house and a house extends 15 degrees on either side. Sripathi system is also popular. All other systems are not that popular.

This happens in the unequal house system of bhava calculating method. Use the equal house system and you will not have this problem at all. In fact most Astrologers these days recommend equal house system. Many software allow you to change it. Check out the options.

Great video sir! Very few videos are there on youtube which explains bhava chalit chart with such ease! But one thing you didn't mention is whether 'yoga' get formed in bhava chart? For ex if venus is in libra in 5th house but moves to 4th house in bhava chalit chart...will it give results of malavya yoga in its mahadasha? Since venus in its own sign or exaltation in a kendra house is a malavya yoga?

Sir there kind of confusion with bhav chalit. I have my Jupiter in 9th house in Sagittarius in Rasi chart conjunct moon. But both of them have shifted to 10th house in Bhava chalit which coincides with rasi Capricorn so is my Jupiter debilitated or is there a 'Hansa mahapurush Yoga' happening.
You have Hansa Yoga (one of the 5 Pancha Maha Purusha Yogas). Your Jupiter is not debilitated. Use the Rasi Chart for exaltation, own house status etc and use bhava chart for the house number of a planet ( like your house number).
during saturn major period saturn is situated in 1st house and its move to 2 in bhava chalit then that planet will give result of 1st place and not for 2 nd place? Please confirm. And another question that if that planet is in scorpion in 1st place and it moves to 2 nd place in bhav chalit which is in Sagittarius so that planet will follow scorpion or Sagittarius?? Saturn will give the result of the position in the bhava chart. the confusing part is which bhava chart to use? I use equal house system and some use the sripathi bhava system. I keep an eye on both but prefer to use the equal house system for a particular reason. It has also given me better results. Hence I prefer it.

The above explaination only pertains to the Rasi chart..I am asking because there might be the case where The planets remain the same in the Rasi n Bhava in D1 ; however just by looking at the D9 we cannot term them as Vargottama;do we need use bhava in D9 to confirm Vargottama if they are in the same sign or if they move in D9 then they would not be termed as Vargottam?

These are the grey areas of Astrology. However I use the Rasi chart only for creating the amudha's of any house. But some software uses the bhava chart. I use what worked best for me all these years.

For example I'm a scorpio lagna with saturn in 1st and venus in 10th in Rasi but in bhava chalit venus moves to 9th house and Saturn in 12th house now at my 33rd year I got in to astrology from my ex girlfriend but was western then by research I found kapiel raj and during the end of that year I broke up with my gf and enrolled in to kapiels magha vedic astrology school venus is sitting in the 8th house in ardra in d9 also and I'm in rahu(6th bharani) venus(magha) dasha so I guess all this played out as a venus in Leo but in the 9th house concept of studying and higher education in a more spiritual way ( money issues and technical issues was there in past years when I enrolled in art school and in management school 21st year so I dropped out. Again 9th house theme of higher education )
Also got guru retro in 3rd with moon but moon in chalit moves in sagittarius this makes moon lord of the 8th house with venus in it. No. There is no logic in this. The divisional charts are actually derived from the Rasi (D1) Chart. It is like dreaming inside a dream inside a dream type. It is all just a a dream.

if a person has heart problem , then does it mean that the native has some problem in Anahata Chakra which ruled by Venus.
But in Medical Astrology the Karaka for heart is Sun and not Venus .

I think the chakras are more to do with our spiritual evolution. If the heart chakra is afflicted then the person does not have a good heart. He may have selfish love and have more lust in him. What you said is correct that Sun is the karaka of heart. Affliction to the 5th house may also mean heart problem.

Your explanation of difference can be better explained three circular figures as under:-
1) Circular zodiac for deciding plantary positions (a rigid grid) (365 days duration)
used as a base for janma rashi and janma nakshatra.
Also to know rashi adhipathi.
2) Circular bhava with 12 parts (24 hours duration) rotating on its own axis.
Used as a base for janma lagna.
3)A rigid bhava (without reference to janma lagna) to know bhavadhipathi.
Note:-
1 is to be superimposed on 2 and 3 is to be superimposed on 1.
There will be perfect integration of basic concepts for enhanced understanding.

Sir, so in that case, this raasi / lagna chart is only to know on which Raasi the planet is sitting and if it is exalted, debilitated or it's in its own house or enemy's house, right? Aspects are to be calculated from RASI CHART. Bhava is ONLY (ONLY, ONLY) for counting house positions).

So, now I see that, when all the astrologers who are doing some online videos are using only D1 chat even for illustrations etc.. practically they must be using both D1 and Bhava chalit chat, right? Because in my D1, Sun and Mercury in 6th house but in bhava chalit in 7 the house. Mars in 7th house in D1, but in 8th in Bhava chalith. Rahu in 3rd and Ketu in 9th in D1 but Rahu moves to 4th and Ketu to 10th in Bhava chalit. So now I understand that the results of the planets as per houses will be as per bhava chalit. Sun and Mercury will give results of 7th house. Mars will give results of 8th house, Rahu of 4th and Ketu of 10th house. Am I right sir?
What about yogas, you count them from bhava or rashi, especially for rajayogas?
Let us discuss Sasa Yoga a pancha mahapurusha yoga. Saturn must be in own sign or exaltation coinciding with kendra houses. So we need to have Saturn in the Rasi chart in own sign or exaltation but in the bhava chart in the 1st house or 4th or 7th or 10th house. I hope you got this. The rasi chart shows the zodiac position. One must not refer to zodiac in the bhava chart.

+Amish Pokhrel Please read the Bhava Chart only for knowing the position of houses. Use the Rasi chart to know which sign the graha occupies. Like Sun is in Capricorn, but Sun is in the 1st house. The first part is known from Rasi Chart and the 2nd part of the previous line is known from the bhava chart.

There is also the Shripati Bhava Chalit chart, which takes the Ascendant as the 15 degree point of the first house. Nirayana Bhava Chalit Chart takes the Ascendant as the starting degree of the first house (zero degree). So which one is more accurate, from your experience?Also KP the bhava chart changes.I am confused

Using rashis as houses never works for me.
Rok Koritnik Use the Bhava Chart, i prefer the equal house system. With Lagna (Ascendant) degree as Bhava Middle point of each house and stretching 15 degrees on either side.

So you have to read the effect of Jupiter as though Jupiter is in the 5th house whereas Jupiter is in Gemini only. Jupiter is not in the 6th house. You are lucky that Jupiter is in the 5th house instead of the 6th house. Similarly Mars in the 7th house is bad. In your case Mars is in the 6th house. However Mars is debilitated but in the 6th.

use bhava chart for counting the house number of a graham. Period. After that just ignore it. Use only RASI CHART for all other purpose. Hope that answers your question.
