This looks really good! Worth mentioning for those of us with older houses: sometimes that popcorn ceiling stuff has asbestos in it so if anyone is doing this project just be aware of that possibility.
Great job. Love how much more modern the new light fixture looks above the accent area in the ceiling. The fluorescent light fixture just didn't look good. And of course, all done on a budget. Can't beat that!
