I remember him broadcasting the 1987 Mainstay cup final between Amazulu & Kaizer Chiefs and the 1987 Ohlsson's Cup final between Kaizer Chiefs and Moroka Swallows. He is the greatest South African football commentator of all time.
It is amazing how this gentleman is so calm here. Very docile, nothing like the firebrand commentator who brought a game to life for listeners. I remember how we used to watch the TV with volume off and tune in the radio to get his voice on it. Sorely missed on the waves
