    When you washed your hair, you didn’t use any products at all before you put it in a braid? So this is a refresh for when you really don’t have any product in it yet from previous days, correct?

      Yes, That's correct. 😊

    Hi! I'm watching your video for the first time and wanted to leave an appreciation comment. First off, you look beautiful and you have gorgeous hair! Also love your confidence and poise. Wish you the best! I'm going to try your method on my curly hair. :)

    Can you do a refresh video for a day 2 when you've already had product in your hair?

    Great results! Your so nice! Love your accent. Your daughter is soooo awesome! You have a wonderful family. Your laugh is my favorit of all the girl's. You all have your different qualities. You are all so great. Congrats on being you. Godsend.
    P.S. I loved to hear about the way you use the Fructise mask for your ends. I will try it out. My hair doesn't do well with oils. THANKS!

    Hi Luisa! I want to try damp styling, can I do it kind of like your refresh? I have very fine hair and and think the water pulls out my wave when wet styling.. I want to try this type of styling with damp hair,but unsure if I should apply my leave-in on wet and my gel on damp or both on damp? Do you think leave-in absorbs the hair the same in damp hair and wet? Thanks for another great video!🌺

    • @LuisaLouis
      @LuisaLouis  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Corne Swartz! Thanks a lot!
      To answer your questions, I do not think that leave-in absorbs the hair the same in damp hair and wet.
      I personally like to apply the leave-in on wet/soaked hair. It helps with distribution and the overload of water gets rid of the excess product.
      If I decide to apply on damp hair; I would use a small amount and spend a little more time working the product through my hair, using my fingers and brush of choice. Have a spray bottle handy and use it if needed.
      After applying leave-in, I would towel dry with a microfiber towel before applying the gel and diffuse.
      Hope you find the way that works best for your hair 😉

    How are you liking the ecoslay gel? Is it with the buy in your opinion? Also which leave-in do you prefer..the Jessie curl or the kinky curly?

    • @LuisaLouis
      @LuisaLouis  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think the Ecoslay is worth the buy but get the small one first to try out.
      If I had to choose between the 2... maybe Kinky Curly? Although Jessie Curls brings me the moisture that my hair needs 🤔That's a hard one Christina! 😆

    Hi. Love your hair. I have a problem and idk what to do. My hair wont curl in the back it’s really straight but the rest of my hair is good. I also can’t get curly on the roots. And tips? Pls help me

    • @LuisaLouis
      @LuisaLouis  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Have you try the clumping method? it gives me a nice curl def at the roots as well as the back of my hair that's usually wavy/straight.

    Bonjour LuLu:) perfect beautiful hair - always!!! Please do you like more Rocking Ringlets or Gelebration Spray from JessieCurl (I don't know which to buy for my fine hair - but I think that dilute with water rocking ringlets(can be almost Gelebration Sray - or maybe not:)) I love flaxseed gel (your DIY with honey also) but the shelflife is too short....so maybe this combo can be a great option (both products have flaxseed) - how is your opinion and how is the hold of this combo - please?? Take care and have a lovely day 🥰🥰

    • @LuisaLouis
      @LuisaLouis  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Lenka! I like both Rocking Ringlets and Celebration spay. They are 2 different products that I like to use in different ways. I will us RR for styling like you saw on this video and CS to refresh on a day2. CS has a nice little hold the RR doesn't have. definitely not a watered-down version of RR. The hold on this combo was pretty good. I would say a medium hold. 😘

    If you put products in on your wash day, do you still brush out your curls before refreshing? My hair gets super tangled between washes but i'm worried about damage from dry brushing

    You are so beautiful. Thank you for the quick refresh tutorial. I rarely can keep my curls overnight since my hair is 3b fine high porosity, so quick refreshes are part of my routine between wash days. I'll have to try the orange marmalade gel :)
