I grew up in a middle-class family. And like any other middle-class family - I was scared of taking loans.
To this day, I avoid taking loans unless absolutely necessary.
This mindset initially stopped me from taking an educational loan to pursue an MBA from abroad. But then I went ahead and completed my degree anyhow.
Today, I thank my stars for making the right choice.
This conundrum, especially related to finances, is faced by every individual, no matter what stage in life.
So in this video, I pickup some of your stories [that you decided to share] and give my approach on how I would have dealt with it.
P.S: NOT AN INVESTMENT ADVICE. Please do your own due diligence.

Can we get Hindi version of this video if possible? need to share with parents.
@AkshatZayn what was your gmat score i am also targeting these colleges.
Akshat I think you need to make videos for people in the 30k to 50k month salary. Here is where most of the people mess things off.
What we can understand from these videos is that regardless of their income, people always find a new way to go into debt. The solution is contentment, its not about being lazy but about matching your desires with reality. Its okay to live your life but there is a balance, don't save too much or spend too much.
If can have make a similar video but for younger (early 20s) audiences, just got a first job, etc on what should go about financially to have financial freedom.
But I love your videos. KEEP IT UP!!!!! You have encouraged me to start investing ❤
Suggestion: If you can simply keep people anonymous that would suffice. Someone cribbing about their workplace in public can land them in trouble in their company.
+1
Apparently they already gave him their permission.
My father adviced me that never take loan for expenses except when creating any Asset for you...that's why I am very happy & relaxed in my 50t's...now I advice same to my Son...hope he adher to...
It only works when u support to do so or income to make it achieve things without loan or else stop dreaming
I have a different view here. In case you get into some place like HBS or SBS, I say take the loan of 1.5 Cr because it's a once in a lifetime chance. Places like Harvard offer networks and career opportunities you simply cannot get elsewhere. You will be making much much more than 1.5 Cr soon. It takes only around 3 years to pay off the loans if done properly. I am saying this from personal experience.
Please do this video on 15-35k per month type of salaried people as they constitute must of the salaried class in India, not everyone gets 6LPA+ jobs
Solving real time problems of people by your experience is the real bet of serving the community., like to see more of these kinds of videos., thanks for sharing it
Absolutely love this segment. Please continue doing this!
Loved the segment of taking others issues ❤
100% you should continue this. Highly appreciated.
Excellent way of bringing out real stories . Bravo Akshat ,way to go!!
Thank you very much for creating this video. 🙏 Your thoughts and ideas truly inspire us.
This is so useful and actionable. Keep going with this.
Hi Akshat
Excellent video. I am a big fan. I regularly follow your videos. I have a request. Can you please do a video for retirees who have a corpus of funds. Generally they are confused between protecting money VS investment. Thanks in advance
Please continue doing this Q&A ..it is making us more aware of actual problems we can face and their solutions.
Thanks for the video. Helped me understand different financial situations and the practical ways forward
Very relatable and great video. We avoid loans as well. Let's say if someone offers us $100k loan:
1. With 3% interest - My answer is No
2. With 0% interest - My answer is No
3. With -3% interest - My answer is still No (-3% interest means they will pay me 3% for taking a loan!)
It's not about maximizing profits, for us it's about maximizing quality sleep at night. It feels great to say "We don't owe a single cent to anyone in this planet"!!!
Very excellent initiative to share your knowledge to make an change in the life of the community as a whole
Very practical solutions......Thanks for sharing your thoughts
This was great great initiative - given the fact that you motivate people to start investing. Through this people are able to share their challenges as well.
Also people who are not making good money like people featured in this video - don't get disheartened. Like Akshat says work on improving skills and monetizing them and then work on building new income streams.
Much love to Akshat and this beautiful community.
Pls do continue this, very valuable & relatable :)
This is a good format, taking examples and case studies of people like us. Keep going!
Please continue this series!!!!!😊
Very True.. Last 9 years I suffered in that bullshit bank loans.. saala ye khatam hi nahi hota..
please continue this series
Can you please explain how buying medical insurance at an early age) locks in the premium ? I found that the insurance companies keep raising the premium periodically.
*Managing money is different from accumulating wealth, and the lack of investment education in schools may explain why people struggle to maintain their financial gains. The examples you provided are relevant, and I personally benefited from the market crisis, as I embrace challenging times while others tend to avoid them. Well, at least my advisor does too, jokingly*
This is superb! Information, as a noob it gets quite difficult to handle all of this and staying informed is a major cause, how do you go about this, are you a pro investor?
*Through closely monitoring the performance of my portfolio, I have witnessed a remarkable growth of $508k in just the past two quarters. This experience has shed light on why experienced traders are able to generate substantial returns even in lesser-known markets. It is safe to say that this bold decision has been one of the most impactful choi*
How can I be part of this project I earnestly hope to build a strong financial future I'm interested to take part, who's the person behind your success?
*The adviser I'm in touch with is 'CAROLINA MELINA PHERSON' she works with Merrill, Pierce, Smith incorporated and interviewed on CNBC Television. You can use something else, for me she strategy works hence my result. She provides entry and exit point for the securities I focus on.*
She appears to be well-educated and well-read. I ran a Google search on her name and came across her website; thank you for sharing.
Good concept. People can relate with their story.
Hi Akshat - As always, your videos are precise and knowledgeable; thank you very much. I would request you to prepare a video for people who are nearing retirement and what options they have to ensure their lifestyle doesn't drastically change post-retirement. Most of these would be Senior citizens would be holding some large some of cash with them and in case they do not invest wisely, it would get exhausted in next one decade or so and they won't be in position to earn money at that age hence please do make a video and advise. Thanks in advance for the same.
Extremely practical perspective Akshat! Well done.
Great video Akshat !!
I need to fill that google form. Please someone help me with the same as to where I can find it.
Loved the video ❤
You don't take any loan because you have capacity to give loan
Very nice Akshat to hear from various people and their financial situation in life.
It would still be good if you pick some people with a salary range between 25k to 50k per month so it will give perspective for people who are making salary in that range...
Its unfortunate that despite people earning huge but they donot have understanding what to do with money ....
Thank you Akshay. You are truly an amazing human being ❤.

valuable guidance to reduce stress which every middle class families carries . I would have been very happy if i met u before taking loan😊
Same here. It would've saveed me from so much stress.
In this current market nobody help us to guide and tell don't take loan.. Becoz of your videos i even realized that my Mavshi who is working at my house is taking loan of 10%p.m. From pvt money lender how she will improve her living standards.
I am big fan of your videos i always give time becoz every video is value addition for me now my daughter also know u. She sit next to me and listen u carefully. She is 4th std
I am really praying for u and your sweet family. Lots of love to u
Such type of content should be discussed regularly to aware the Indian Middle Class.
Very informative.
But instead of videos on these topics.
Qritten blogs etc would be more useful.
As we can select which is more applicable to us and read accordingly instead of listening to all different advice.
Yes, we learn if we do. But for most who would like to just listen to understand their situation and don't have time.
Focussing on skills over compensation is good for freshers
I don't think for someone with savings of 40-50k should fully go for home loan EMI. That could be detrimental for hundreds of reasons. He should wait till possible EMI of house is 60% of savings. And then invest 40% for retirement, emergency expenses. Any gain in salary can be divided or just used to prepay home loan (need to confirm this option while taking loan)
Those numbers are just numbers. Lot depends on at what cost u get the house and it's potential.
Also stock MF is not the only way to get rich
@@Newage-ed7er my focus is not on specific number of a individual person but the general idea that if you savings of x, then you go for EMI of x is incorrect unless you have some sort of additional good passive income
It is very good.
Thanks
Always amazing when you make lifestyle videos, but lately you have completely transformed yourself into a stock market influencer (except this one)
Yes this is what we need ... 😊
Any loan which can create asset or it can make money which will repay the loan and give some more extra is good.
Pls continue the series
Great video sir
... continue this story
Last week my grandmother died. She had only a little savings, that particular moment I thought do I have to save so much money for my children? Will they care for me after 80+ just like I care for my parents? One thing is for sure am gonna live my life fully first. Saving too much money for children is not my thing, l will give them good education and a good family that's it. They will earn their own money. Btw am not married yet😅.
Hello Akshat it was really good to know that people are making decent money but do we have anything for people who earn around 3 to 4 lakhs a year and wants to build a house and other family stuff too. Can they borrow loan of around 25 lakhs at 10% pa??
Very useful... plz continue

After watching this video I feel how less I am earning😂
Hi
High pay cheque persons are investment problems..better to deal with 40 to 70k per month salarypeople where the guidance will throw a different perspective in their life going forward
@Akshat - Kindly publish stories that reveals more details around the financial background of the person ( overall savings / income per month or per year etc ) . It is okay not to reveal the exact names of the protagonist.
If anyone taking loan for commercial building, then is it right decision or wrong?
if they have no problem to share their personal life. we have no problem & like to hear your perspective on it.
beacuse we are on same world, almost same situation and even same investment market😄
Please do this more !
Such an informative video, we need more such videos.
Great Content Always.
How can a salaried person but a flat house without loan? reality is very harsh this world is only for rich or smart people
Your content used to get repetitive. You need to do more Q&A or make videos taking questions from your comment section. I have been an active member of the community. I am also a member of WH. So please take this seriously and continue this.
Gobind be like : Saale miane tera kya bigada tha LOL
