Paint Protecting The INCREDIBLE Ferrari Monza SP2!

- Earlier in the year, we had the pleasure of paint protecting one of the first Ferrari SP2 Monzas in the country. We designed our bespoke PPF patterns from scratch for this car, and then went about protecting every inch of exposed bodywork, keeping it safe from scratches, stone chips, and swirl marks!

It's more of a work of art than a car
Very few cars do I consider utterly beautiful, heart stoppingly beautiful, beautiful beyond mere words...... Its purely subjective but, for me, this is one of those few cars.

It’s stunning!
That car already has amazing paint protection from the factory (Ferrari has made a piece of automotive art and in doing so,it will spend it's life locked up in a environmentally controlled garage, never seeing the light day until it's owner decides to sell it at auction for more then what they paid. This process will also ensure the paint stays protected)

When owners decide to put protection film on their cars, they are likely to drive them. If they are not going to drove the car, the need for ppf is low to none.
If I was a millionaire and still lived in Sydney, I would buy my supercar and pay to have it shipped to the UK to have this treatment and shipped back to me in mint condition. That’s how good of a service I think Topaz provides. You’re video on the yellow GT3RS was spectacular, world class.

Is there any reason why high end cars don't come with ppf and ceramic coatings from the factory? Surely it would be easier to wrap and coat each panel prior to assembling the vehicle.
Some do, but it’s usually of a lower standard. We actually assist some manufacturers by doing it for them as part of the production process

As simple as the camera man and the car not being in the same room when it was washed!
Topaz Detailing I bet it’s pretty difficult to wash a car like that without a roof and not getting the interior wet.
@@Racelinekarting would have to be sectioned off like most older cars with weak seals, and holes in weird places... probably done with the two bucket method but with microfibres towels.
For me the washing part are so satisfying

what an insane car to be honest
Absolutely a car design for people who can't find enough things to buy. This is a multi-million dollar Hot Wheels car at the top of the impracticality list. How many sunny days does UK have that allow it do be driven rather than relegated to a parking space in the garage. I'd take an 812 GTS in this beautiful color combo instead and bank the extra $2M.

Is it any idea of this protecting? What's difference? The stone chips, scratches will appear on this protecting cover instead. So I can't understand the reason of it.
What ppf it is ? Xpel ? And what database ?

This is the car which has to be protected.
That color in Italy is known as "Rosso Alfa", as it was used in Alfa Romeo race cars. Unusual and rather cheeky choice. Has Ferrari ran out of ideas?

For the price and limited production one would expect Ferrari to deliver the car to the owner in perfect condition that doesn't require after factory detailing
you would think with how rare and expensive these cars are Ferrari would do a factor wrap to it, or any high end performance car maker
how do you model the film shapes required? do you do 3d laser modelling?
We use quite a simple but accurate method. Unfortunately we keep it secret!
@@TopazDetailing interesting -- laser surface scanning would be very fast and accurate. But its v expensive to buy the kit
