Hi Brian, great tips. Question: At the end you talked about Trimble Connect Sync and Firmfolder. Is there a difference from doing it with trible connect sync, compared to the method where you have a shared model and upload the Firmfolder right into the Cloud-Model? As I understand it, with the sync option one would sync the Firmfolder down to their PC, instead of having it in the cloud, correct?

Hi! Sorry for late reply! This is Brian writing:
With the Sync option, you will get a local copy on your one "Work" machine. You can then work Offline, and still have access to all your FIRM setup.
With this setup you also have the possibility to sync all folders, and not just the "FIRM". Ex. If you have a specific folder for "Report Template" (XS_TEMPLATE_DIRECTORY) then that will also be sync.
In my mind you have lot's of better control with the sync.

Mdoification / replacement of the profile is not so easy, you have go to each & every location & change the connections , TRimble people explaining very easy to change & update the model model but in working model all your trics & tips may not work, for presentation purpose it's very easy to say trainee people

You are right, sometimes it is not as easy on a real model to use these tricks. To demonstrate the functionality we have to use simplified models, though... I'm sure you understand :)
