What a fantastic little layover this ended up being. Really enjoyed seeing the crocodiles, termite mounds and the national park swimming hole. Thanks for the heads up on the Got2b brow/hair gel stick. I just started using the "Slick stick" and no joke its like you have put canola oil on your flyaways its so greasy. Addrd bonus its currently on special at Woolies this week!! Thanks for sharing once again. Hope you, Hubby and Baby are all keeping well. 😊
Hi Bri Im wondering if you have any advice on avoiding jetlag as i will be flying from Adelaide to London (Different time zones)? I dont wamt to be falling alseep when i arrive in London i want to have a normal day and try and sleep that night. Any advice would be fabulous 😊
Get the app time shifter, and try to sleep in London time zone before the flight. So wake up earlier or sleep in later, also I find just trying to sleep the whole flight helps when you have a whole day when you arrive at your destination!
Thanks for sharing your adventure. Darwin is a great place. Hope your travelling well. I wonder if you will vlog your last flight before maternity leave.
Wait the editing Brie wears glasses?? 🤓 haha I have a question 🙋🏻♀️ do you wear contacts while you fly? I hear that contacts are really drying when up in the air, so airlines prefer CC wearing glasses. I’m currently looking for a job as CC and wondering if I should continue wearing my glasses or invest in contacts (I find it x10 easier doing safety briefings without glasses because of the life jackets haha) Please let me know Brie!! Loved the vid 💕 Hope I get to fly to Darwin one day too!! ✈️
Hahah yep 🤓 I’m blind as a bat! I wear contacts if I’m not wearing my glasses, I’ve personally never had issues with contacts when flying. About a year ago I changed to daily contact lenses instead of monthly ones and I’ve felt like my eyes are a lot more moist. I personally prefer contacts, I feel so much more freer! I can TOTALLY understand the life jacket situation haha!
Just wondering what your experience of shift work is like as you progress in your pregnancy? Does you employer support you to have more civilised shifts as you progress, to accommodate the increase in fatigue, and impact on your body?
Yes they do! You can stop flying at 8 weeks if you want to and be put on ground duty, I felt okay to keep flying but I can’t fly past 28 weeks of pregnancy!
I’ve always wanted to be a flight attendant. I’ve even done an online course, but l live in country, a few hours away from the Airport.,Would l still be able to do this sort of work without having to move? Would l be able to do it just casually or part-time?
Yeah definitely- I live about an hour away at the moment and have even lived further away before. It just means you have a lot of driving to do after a potentially long shift of flying. So it just depends on personal preference:)
I felt really anxious watching that crocodile cruise 😧 I was thinking, “What if someone fell out of the boat into the river?” 😮 They would get attacked by a crocodile 😲
@@BrieanaYoung the carpets are washed infrequently and there is all kinds of body fluids imbedded in them. (You wouldn’t walk barefoot in a washroom on a plane?) stay safe.
that ending was so good
Hahaha thanks!

Hahah yeah definitely, we were told not to even hang out arms past the railing on the boat as the crocs could jump and rip your arm off!!
@@BrieanaYoung That’s so true 🙁
Congratulations on your pregnancy.
••Please don’t walk barefoot in a hotel room. This tip is from a public health nurse. Trust me.
Love your vlogs.
thank you!!! ❤️ may I ask what are the risks of walking barefoot? haha I do it all the time!
