I would prefer both. Simply because DWH provides ready-built-in capability for data analysis (subjected to context). So without much of transformation and cleansing of data analysts can start using it. Whereas if I want to fluctuate, influence, automate decision making or predict future outcomes based on my data then I have to use data lake because it provides wider visibility to data and to all aspects of data. Aspects serve as control variables / switches to AI algorithm. That said, if over the period of time, analysis becomes deterministic i.e. we know which alogorithm, what transformation, what control switches and how to model data to assist in predictive/AI based analysis then it makes sense to push it to DWH.
