Hi there, Stephe. Quick question for you, if that’s ok. Why do you stick with the Alps stereo (I assume 100K) volume pots? Are they just the best sounding to you? When I built my Elekit 300B amp, the pot that came with it was awful. I tried a few others like TKD, EIZZ, Audio Note, and Alps. The TKD sounds best to me, but that was also years ago. There’s a couple I can’t recall off the top of my head, but because a volume pot in a SE class A amp is basically attenuating the signal rather than increasing gain, it’s obviously an important part.
