My father's Grand mother did not eat the day she did not get a visitor in her the house when they lived in Dhaka. My mother's mother had this concept that Bhagawavan Vishnu is upset with her if she did not visitors for lunch regularly. We would advise My Mama to put up a placard in front of you shop saying "PLEASE come to our house for lunch" this way WE could have some relief in the house. But it was very sweet of my Grand mother, in Bengal it was a saying that anyone at your door step att Noon was Vishnu in disguise

"Eating free" - But remember based on Vedic metaphysics nobody can own anything which also means mandir ecosystem is not going to refuse food even if a person does not contribute anything because giving food for hunger is dharma even though the omnipresent, impassive and conscious experiencer is just one (Shiva). In modern day, we have food banks and no restrictions on who can use them.

It was not only in ancient times but in recent past during covid times when people were going back to their villages the residents of villages near the migration route provided them with tea and biscuits at day break. Puris and Aloo subji fir breakfast, rice, dhal and chapatis for lunch and also for dinner on the entire route. Even night stay was arranged for ladies and children.
This is the reason why I stopped gurukal at Chardham. Parents and teachers did not understand the concept. I hope people understand 🙏. Thank you Shreeji for today 🙏.

My mother would tell us this, about 70 yrs ago, suppose she was eating her food and some relatives from the extended family comes, the person was free to join the food. She told us that even the boy of the person who used to till their land would eat with them from the same 'thali' and you will be surprised to know that one of the people who was responsible for tilling their land was a yadavji. It not only shows the strength of the social fabric and how people took care of other people in the society who not very well off, even if they belonged to the so called obc community.

There was no concept of OBC, BC century back. Today's OBC were engineer manufacturers and used to run various industries.

Sir what you stated at about 10 minutes time frame - reminds me of my paternal grandmother, in our native place, who used to wait for the train to come to the town and go and then take her lunch. she used to keenly listen to the sounds of the horse buggy [ called as jatka - not to be confused by the other word with the same pronunciation] and ask us if all of them have passed by and if no atithi has come then she used to sit for her lunch.

With all due respect...how can these ancient ideas be applied? I agree with lots of ideas Dr. Shah is expressing! At local temples even in India they survive on volunteers who made money somewhere else! How does it fit in the 'Make in India' concept? Defense spending, innovation etc...
Distributing resources through mandirs = Giver doesn't know whom he has given and receiver doesn't know from whom he has received, means no sense of ego and no sense of shame/entitlement. Dhanyavad.

In childhood, my fufi ( aunty - father's sister) would make us to read those Dharmik Kahani suitable/ meant for that Vrat , fasting
And almost each and every, Kahani used to start like this :
The family head is about to have his lunch, he would tell his some family members, plz go and announce
" find out if there is any hungry person around, plz invite him / her for lunch".
We used to wonder, why is this so? Why should he invite an unknown person for lunch?
Now later we observed that my father used to tell my mother to cook food , enough for all of us plus some extra for minimum two "Atithi"
Sometimes mother did not cook extra, father used to get upset.
Now when Dr Ankit Shah said, and you Shree Ji said, I recalled all those childhood memories.
Dr Shah is a genius of a different kind. Very difficult for understanding some of his concepts till it actually happens. I would say he is the Elon musk in economics.
The big difference is he is not materialistic.

"Dharma" is not to be found in the dictionary of KHANGRESS
The word 'Castes' is however very there in Congress dictionary. That is why Rahul is saying that the first thing Congress will do if they come to power is to conduct a Castes Census of the country (most probably ) to break up the country . ( Break Akhand Bharat to Khand-khand Bharat.)
The problem with handing out money is one never knows what purpose it goes for. Feeding people is a more direct way of ensuring social security, as would be free education, medical treatment with no particular fee etc. Even now i see some healers in south india follow the principle of not asking for any fee and leave it completely to the patient to drop whatever they want in a box (no one monitors)

The present day Banking & Financial system owe their origin to French Renaissance of medieval ages. The Sanathan model in Bharath was self-organised, self-sustaining respectively. Livestock, Farm Produce, Land and gold-silver were the real assets and mark of wealth. Of course after invasions, everything upside-down.
The thinnai or courtyard in front of the house used have a shaded area with a roof wherein the traveller used to rest for a while from the hot sun or rain. The choultrys used to give food or shelter and the users used to drop donation in the box kept for such a purpose. In some communities, there is a common fund, wherein members of the community can take loan which is interest free and the members pay it on time.

Interesting concept but there are countries (Norway and Scanda. land) and monarchies (Oil based Kuwait ? ) where the gov / system does a reasonable enough job for it's citizens also Basics like health, education, food security etc are free and provided on a need based universal model with citizens having the right to opt out if not needed. The govs here actually run surpluses even after the spending along with their sov. wealth funds

Inheritance Tax is a very good Idea if and only if you apply it only for the top 20 percent of the wealthiest people. I mean there should be a cutoff mark on the accumulated wealth to qualify for the inheritance tax. It should cover the top 20 percent of the wealthiest people. So that the wealth can be redistributed in the society.
They would say what is their fault in trying to create wealth and value. Why should they be punished.
Govt can only encourage more contribution from the rich corporates etc in education, healthcare and other essential sectors.
@@inspiregrowth9022 The only reason is it stop the madness of earning by any means.. Quality of life is very important. it can only be achieved by producing quality products. Our society is filled with poisonous food items, Immoral Health System and unproductive education system. People may come to their senses that earning is not important but producing quality products that enrich the society. If the top 20 percent understand this.. money can be directed to the meaningful purposes.
