I first told my buddy about it and managed catching it grabbing it by its neck and put it inside between two leaves at my hand and eventually releasing it to a plant vase in front of our classroom. My friend then started trying to get the mantis really angry by sticking his fingers near the bug's arms as he wanted to see it flick it's "weapons". He was just likely wanted to see how strong it's claws are but as he swings his fingers in front of the mantis it managed to grab his whole finger and instantly bit him and then I laughed out asking my friend if it hurts, He then shows me his finger with a drop of a blood without saying anything while looking at me smiling😂😂😂

I got too close to one once, I had a flower bed of tall gladiolas that they liked to hide in, and it jumped on me and scratched me on the arm. It wasn't bad, just a few very tiny ones that didn't break skin but there was one that did draw a bit of blood. I will give it credit though, I smacked it pretty hard when it jumped on me and it just dropped to the ground and crawled off like nothing had happened.
