Oh boy that was hilarious watching how fast Rupert was crawling. You are definitely going to have your hands full with one curious little boy. Always enjoy your videos. Thanks for the hard work you do in getting the videos up. Have a great week.
Thanks Connie. Yes, he's so inquisitive. Always wants to know what's going on or how something works. He's going to be full on. Utterly at least it will keep us busy. Xx
Hi guys, I am old guy from Australia, no grandkids, but I still remember I have 2 their in thier late 40's now, I am 63, their is going to be plenty of tears as Rupert will fall over and knock his head from under the table, so plenty of cuddles are going to be needed, yes jell is needed for teething, it soothes the pain, and keep an eye on Rupert, once he starts walking his running will follow, ha ha ha have fun guys, he will be a handful, best of luck, and Jamie lucky you both are fit, he will run you off them ha ha ha, Cheers guys. Megan your voice sounds like Silk, Jamie you keep joining too. just keep the music pumping, Ever tried a Karen Carpenter song, She had such a unique voice, give one a try, The other singer Judith Durham, she was from the original Seekers, look her songs up. She also has a unique voice, I think she is in her 80's now, I heard her 4 years ago on radio doing an interview and she sang her song with out music, still has the pitch back then. Only just a thought. Thank You guys for the songs you bring to us all. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME.
Fantastic vlog, as ever - Rupert is growing up soooo lovely. The shot of him at baby gym with the headband on is priceless!! Megan; the very last thing you need is a beauty hair/makeup change, you look fabulous. (And, of course, same goes for Jamie!). Take care; stay cool! xxx🐼
Rupert is at such a fun age. They really are the best form of entertainment. He will start walking soon. It happens anytime between now and 1yr. My grandson was real early at walking. He got too frustrated with crawling then started walking a few days after turning 10 months. One of the things we purchased was a balance bike once we felt he was wanting to qet on a tiy to ride. It has been the best thing. He rides it around my house and even to and from the park. He is three and has now riding a regular bike with no training wheels. He just jumped on and started riding. That's because of the balance bike. Love watching you two. Hope you have an amazing week ahead.
This is Us and Ted Lasso. This is how we can be more then certain you both have excellent taste and judgement. Hopefully the cameras were rolling and we will also be able to see you wondering the streets of Richmond with Ted Lasso!! Can't wait for it to return. Thank you for another absolutely delightful Sunday morning tea time. There's nothing like having some tea with adorable friends.
@@JamieandMegan How fab would that be to see you and Rupert strolling through a TL scene! How surprising would it be to have them use that piece of tape.
Love the updates! Love that Rupert is eating dirt lol. My daughter at that age loved to lick rocks. You try super hard to stop them but it’s not always easy. Keep shining. 🤗 from Colorado.
Good morning from Texas! Baby Rue is getting sooo big and he is fast with the crawling. Baby proofing the house is so important and necessary. Babies are so curious and I agree this is a very dangerous stage. They have no fear. Thanks for sharing your week . I look forward to visiting with you every Sunday. Have a great week! Hugs!💕💕💕
Oh the fun times you have ahead. I can not believe it has been 10 months since little Roo was born. He is such a little darling little guy. Love your vlogs.
Lovely catch up video thank you. Seems like only yesterday Roo was born, where’s that year gone! What was the name of the tv show that made you both cry called? Could do with a new series to binge watch! Thanks and love to you all x
Hi Jamie and Megan, just wanted to say thank you for your lovely content❤! It's test time at the univerity at the moment and I spend much of my day sitting in front of my laptop. Yesterday I got disattracted and started watching so many of your covers.. I even cried twice but it was such a nice moment in between learning and learning day in and day out and it literally made my morning. Oh and you speaking about Zoella reminded me so much of these days were both of your babies were born and at that time almost 1 year ago I was thinking how funny it is, that I follow 2 UK channels on YT and both are having there first baby within the same week🥺🤯. Wish you a lovely week and a great start for Roo in the nursery! Greatings from Germany🥰🌞!
Happy Sunday vlog. Thank you for the comprehensive Rupert update❣️ Amazing how a quickly he is growing and developing. I'm sure he'll love the nursery when he starts. So lucky to be on set during the filming of Ted Lasso. Hopefully you'll have a cameo 🎥 Love the hair cuts/trims. Very fresh. Thank you for sharing this week. We love hearing from you both. Can't wait to see and hear what you've got planned for us over the next couple of months. Take care and stay safe ❤️
Good morning from Texas! Baby Rue is just precious! This is a very dangerous age ! I agree- babies are so curious! You are right in baby proofing your space. I love hearing your stories and look forward to this every week! How fast this year has gone by! Hugs!💕💕💕
Re: Stokke chair - if you lower the foot plate he will find it difficult to get purchase to stand. We have 3 kids and didn’t need to get the clips. Hope that helps x
9:26 OMG! He wants a piece of those chocolates! Lol You can tell he's gonna be an adventurous kid, seeing how he moves a lot. I don't think I've ever seen a baby crawl from his high chair to the table 😅 Good to see Roo doing more activities, the dinosaur Roo was the funniest 😁
This was such a great video. Have you considered joining play groups , they are FREE and YOU get to keep an eye on him. Might be a great solution until he gets a bit bigger !
I think the childminder route is more appropriate coming from working in childcare I find children get more attention if there is only 3-4 kids rather than a creche where there is a crazy number of kids to childminder
Love Cherryz and they really are money saving plus they have great bargains on all sorts of things. I have that box too and it’s brilliant 🤩 xx. Their cleaning products are amazing 👍 xx
Absolutely love watching your videos! Not sure if you guys now but to help with childcare costs you can get a government gateway account where you end up getting your childcare tax free! This makes a huge difference to us
@@JamieandMegan so we have used it with both of our boys as soon they went to child care. They went in at 8 months old. Once they are 3 if you are both working you can then get 30 hours free childcare and then get the 20% off on anything over the 30hrs. Just check that the childminder you are thinking of using will allow to use to the government gate away account. Now our eldest is in school we can also use the account to get his wrap around tax free too! It makes such a huge difference reducing the childcare bill by 20% each month!
I would suggest maybe you get some high chair straps for Rupert , so he’s safe and doesnt fall out . It has been known for babies to climb out and fall to the floor . Stay safe !
Absolutely. They are already ordered. Hopefully coming tomorrow. You quickly realise that kids only need 2 seconds to get themselves into trouble. Need eyes in the back of our heads.
I am using aloevera gel on my chest and face and I can really recommend it! It hydrates your skin and it provides pimples (of course there may be some but they are much less since I am using it) And aloevera gel is not expensive 🙈 (I am not using the pure Aloe Vera Gel, mine contains alcocohl and other acids as well, but which cream does not?)
Is it so necessary for Rupert to go to Nursery…..Mum Dad and a secure home environment is so important…. Finding a home situ with other mothers who have a little one and perhaps take it in turns to do a ‘ session ‘ while the other Mums have time to go to the dentist or have your nails done….
@@JamieandMegan it is actually “Raising a Son” by Jeanne Elium and Don Elium. I liked it because the book was divided into age related sections. So you didn’t have to read the whole book at one time and remember everything. You could only refer to that section. Sorry about the confusion, but my son is 35 now so it has been awhile since I read this book. To me it was handy to know if what my son was doing at that stage of growth was normal or not. Hope this helps.
Mark, once again we are gobsmacked. You don't know how much your support means to us all. You are so incredibly kind and generous. We hope to continue to make videos that you enjoy. Thank you so much x
Thank you for the update. I am always wondering how you are all doing and I look so forward to Sunday's because I know there might be a new vlog. I love your idea for Ruperts birthday of Teddy Bear picnic. That would be so adorable. I wanted to offer a suggestion for child care. I don't know if you have a church you attend. My Mom had me in a program called Mothers Day Out when I was Ruperts age. It was nursery at our church we attended. There were classes for children up to kindergarten age. My Mother knew the teachers because they attended church there as well. Anyway. You get the idea. I don't know if that is something that might interest you or not. Just a suggestion for you. Thank you again for another wonderful vlog. God Bless!
I think that’s a great call going to a registered childminder. My eldest daughter will be 45 this year but she went to a childminder when she was a baby (I did temporary work) & she loved it. Later on when I had my second child I registered to become a childminder. You should get a list from your local Council and then go visit. You will get the right feel when you meet someone you are comfortable with and, of course, that Rupert takes to. I just feel it’s more of a “family feel” being in a home setting with other children. I’m not knocking nurseries at all but unless you get recommendations it’s not easy to find a good nursery & then the good ones usually have long waiting lists 💕. Whatever you decide on I’m sure it will be lovely for Rupert 🥰 xxx
