Mapal Naidraba Nungshiba - Imphal Talkies and Friends ft. Sangai Band Imphal

Imphal talkies had been wanting to collaborate with a traditional wedding band.
This song was a realisation of that dream. Taking Sangai Band to the studio and recording with the band was an ultimate pleasure. It was also the first time for Sangai Band to enter a studio for a recording session.
This is one of the few love (romantic) songs Imphal Talkies has ever written.

I don't understand Manipuri. But Imphal talkies has been one of all time favorites ever since I saw them in Ziro 2014. I had goosebumps when they sang When the home is burning. I remember Akhu's story about how he got named. He said mom coughed or something if I remember right. You guys are pure love for me. I listen to you guys every time I drive back home. My all time favorite is Seregai. I have taught my 2 year old son They saaaaay, don't go ooouuut Mr President is Coming. I want to bring him to Manipur to meet you guys one day. You guys are pure love. There is something that makes me listen to you guys over and over again. Waiting for the next Napa Thorai Macha level song.
