The story references, the subtle hints at Orochimaru’s influence and Sasuke’s compromised state of mind, and Sasuke’s standout voice actor... It’s one of the few UJ’s that I’ve never forgotten even though it’s been over 10 years since I last touched this game.
It's sad that they censored the Jutsus more and more with every part in the franchise. You can see this clearly with Sasuke's and Orochimaru's Level 2.
I completely agree, which I’m still shocked to admit since I totally prefer 3D fighters like Tekken and Soulcalibur and 2D stuff like SF/KOF/Smash is a terrible experience 😅

Bigger roster, Longer story mode and etc. Yeah people told me back in the days clash of ninjas was better but I didn't give a flying shit. I was having too much fun with ultimate ninja 2
Tfw Tenten got so little development that over half of her UJ’s are just her letting her teammates do all the work. I mean, they made up abilities for Sakura that she never had in the manga or anime(inner Sakura making her stronger and Kurenai’s specialty tree genjutsu which Sakura never learned) but the devs couldn’t be bothered when it came to Tenten xD
They were honestly way more fun and way more creative back then. Storm 4 specials get hella stale after a while. Missed when we had different levels of specials broken into parts

Elaborating on what I said previously, I can assume Hinata is the clone of Neji since Neji did all the stuff in anime, not Hinata, so they just copy-and-paste some moves and ougis on her and called it a day. (Notice on 6:57 how Neji actually hits Naruto’s chest, like he did in the anime and also 7:08.) Since they reused animations, they also forgot to change some of the values of it so they could make Hinata aim higher since she’s shorter. I only know some stuff things about game design so I don’t know all the details, but I wouldn’t call it a bug. Or Hinata just has more in common with Jiraiya than we thought…😏
@@xraiderblack1850 hinata no 😭 So i just checked the US and Europe ver of the gane Remember that the first Ougi from Kiba and Shino summons Hinata using this ougi US ver has it fixed but it has blood falls to the ground after the opponent got hit on the chest However in the Europe ver, the ougi from Shino and Kiba are fixed but not for the 2nd ougi from Hinata Yes she actually did hit short chars on 'there' but for taller ones she hit on the stomach The blood was removed too So this vid must be the europe ver Haven't checked the jp one tho
Omg i just realized something. The most minute detail that makes everything make sense. On the second phase of itachi’s first special, the frame is zoomed in on his cloak. You can see through it. Thats the exact point he switches himself out with the water clone, and its so seamless it looks like its just him exploding randomly but in reality he created a clone in his exact spot and managed to body flicker away so perfectly that it was as if he never moved at all. Thats why when he kicks you in the back, its not him creating a clone to kick you into him, its him kicking you into his clone. That took me way too long to wrap my head around as a kid, and as an adult I understand it but wanted to come check if there was any sign of it at all. And there is, its just really fucking subtle. Good shit to this game for properly portraying how good itachi is at his misdirection
Im so late for this but how do i get new character on this game i already defeated the story game the easy mode tsunade and shizune but i didnt get the character unlike the first one, when i defeated the boss already it gave me new character. (Sorry my grammar is so bad)
I was so weirded out by the piss yellow chakra everyone had in the first and second game. I am so glad they fixed that in the third game. Absolutely hated seeing Neji having a yellow colored rotation, that one specifically bugged me the most.

There's a bunch of these on 2 that were better than 3, as 3 used the character model instead in the ultimate jutsus which made them look duller, they lacked animation as well. Also liked the voicing a little better in 2 also. Sasuke, Kakashi, Neji, etc. Very noticeable
