Your videos have been wonderful! I wish I were close enough to take a class from you! I'm getting ready to buy some Cranfield Caligo Safewash in a few different colors--do you think buying the process colors (CYMK) (along with white and black) is the way to go to get started with color?

Thank you so much for your nice comments. I tend to work with color by getting primaries) (Yellow, Red, Blue, of course) and mixing them, rather than the more commercial CYMK colors, but that is personal preference. You could expand your color mixing by having more than one red, and one blue, etc., for instance a magenta and a napthol red, and a process blue and a phthalo blue. And, keep adding as you develop color preferences! Have fun!

Hi Sarah I have a question which I hope reaches you. I notice you use Liquid
Akua for printing. Can i use the intaglio ink as I have several of that type of ink instead

Hi Diane - You could use the Akua Intaglio, but it tends to bleed badly into the paper after a short time. They have discontinued that ink by the way. Yes, use what you have but realize that you would/could be making work that would compromise the archival or longevity of the prints.
