digging this...if you want a similar but heavier grunge sound from the ladies check out false advertising and summer cannibals. jen and jess are some serious guitar talents. FL CL is cool. also...get colleen green on audiotree...seriously...she is the queen of this fuzz pop..
@@yishay6194 you are welcome...i have dozens more..all i listen to are female fronted bands. lots of different genres too. hardcore, punk, power pop, grunge..guitar rock lots on my playlists in my profile.
saw their set a few months back in charlotte theyre good here but they are really good live reminds me of some 90's bands also the bass player looked good then and shes still HOT now
emma baker of flasher and big hush is fun to watch....i do want to buy daddy issues albums tho..those guitar riffs are pretty sick...bass is really good too....like chainsaw kittens....theres a band for ya.
It’s alright to play simple. These style bands are almost a mix of motowns simplicity mixed with the 90s riot grrrl sound. Daddy Issues, Caytana (rip), All Dogs, Waxahatchee, Colleen Green, Bleached... those style bands have the perfect mix. & I love Mars Argo everyone wishes she’d come back after everything that happened to her. If you haven’t heard Skating Polly yet please check them out. They’re much more Veruca Salt vibe but they have done what is hard today and that is find your own sound. Such a perfect band. Rock is not dead it just went back to the undergrounds. 🤘
@@wyattsutton563 I don't but point is no one cares about the attraction to members of the band, just the music. These comments are so lame and overdone on these videos where the band happens to have girl members
14:22 - I remember watching FLCL about 9-10 years ago, and read the manga! I felt the first season was a wacky sci-fi overly imaginative take on a young boy stepping out of childhood and into adulthood, there's a lot of risqué metaphors in the anime and manga if you look for them. Looks like season 2 and 3 came out this year, guess I need to catch up...
Looks and sounds like they just received their musical instruments this 2018 christmas and immediately starting to composing, playing and they make a band.
dandelion is a sick track...and there are only so many chords you can play...just enjoy they sound like bands you love....i think they pretty much rip off colleen green but what ever....its music i love..
I saw them 1/23 in Brooklyn. This band has enormous potential. They're from Nashville so, I'm assuming they have somebody with some serious chops helping them to arrange these songs because they are great songs! Good show. Jenna Moynihan, vocals and guitars, does the whole 'shoegaze' thing and I wish that she wouldn't. It would be great also if she would dress up a bit for a show and not look like she just rolled out of bed, she even yawned in between songs!! lol... millennials... the other two gals Jenna, Bass and Emily on drums, interact with the audience and are a lot more alive on stage. Because of the quality of the songwriting, I do feel that Daddy Issues could be really huge. They just have to play like they're rock stars if they want to be that.
Such children! I'm sure that Mick Jagger (and countless others...) never said that after a tour they went home for their mom's bow-tie pasta. What gives? Grow up... move out... be adults.
