If I get enough books I am going to be making depresso my main miner if only for the absurdity of his mining animation
YES!!! Depresso is hilarious! I might do that too, actually lol
I was thinking on doing the same thing lol xD
You can with modding and cheat engine I got fuwack with all lv5 working
@@huulepham1961sounds boring 😂 to me but if you like it 🎉
Haha depresso would actually still not do well at lvl 5 because of how slow he is, but it’s funny
The homing sphere launchers on the Gobfin looks hilarious as hell.
Also thank you for having a guide that doesn't use Relaxarus as a base breeder because of Glutton being an annoying passive to get rid off. Saving so much more time in breeding
Yeah, it's definitely fun to use when you need to catch pals in bulk lol.
As for Relaxaurus, it's a handy pal for breeding, so I was worried at first that I might have to include him again coz I was struggling to find the combos I was looking for. Glad it worked out eventually 😁
Also found that having a very early Splatterina (Galeclaw + Nitewing) sped up any concerns with crafting I had. Since I was gonna need both anyway, she holds the crafting bench over until I get a proper Anubis setup
Oh, true, that's a good tip!
Best palworld video I've seen. Excellent work. Thank you for your tips and help.
Thank you. Glad you liked it!
If you get enough books, Katness Ignis is a really good replacement for Jorm Ignis. You need 2 handiwork books, 2 fire books, 2 medicine books, and 2 transport books to fully max her out, but she does the work of several pals. She's a dark type so you can go full workspeed without nocturnal, she prioritized smelting/cooking so she'll go straight to it whenever you need it, but if there's nothing to cook she'll help craft stuff, and the couple times you actually need to make medicine she's already in the base to do that too. And when she's idle she just transports stuff which is nice (not the fastest, but not the slowest either). Wixen Noct is basically the same if you don't care about medicine, and needs 1 less handiwork book. Also they both actually fit in 1 story buildings, and Jorm Ignis cant even fit in a 2 story one.
Great point. I like Katress Ignis too. Very versatile pal.
You don't really want more than one or two jobs per pal. Blazamut ryu is better than Jorm Ignis anyway since you can max condense it for lvl 5 kindling and mining.
You also don't want transporting as a secondary for a majority of reasons, typically because work speed does NOT affect transporting whatsoever. You want a completely different set of passives on your transporters to boost speed.
Also, your floors shouldn't be so low anyway for multi-floor bases. My jorms don't have any issue getting around a 3 high floor (using 'em until I get blazamut ryu bred up). I'd worry about flying pals clipping on 2 high floors anyway.
Thanks for the awesome guide, Symoh! I hope you're having a wonderful day! 💖
I just put all my raw food in the guild chest. Food never spoils in there, freeing up the ice pal slot. And the cooked food already lasts long enough that pals eats it regularly, refreshing the timer
This video is absolutely goated and tremendously helps me i just started playing a few weeks ago and I'm still learning so much
Awesome, thank you! Glad it helped!
This is honestly a really good setup, will definitely have to utilize some of these. Think I'm gonna make my Shroomer Noct be my primary Lumbering Pal, and I think Helzephyr Lux and Sootseer are pretty solid choices for Electricity and Kindling due to their innate rank 3 (which you can boost to 5 with condensing and a single book) as well as their smaller sizes and their innate Dark Typing
Thank you! I like your idea of using Shroomer Noct for lumbering. It's definitely more efficient. I might actually do that once I get the lumbering books.
There's the funny and cute pals to give work suitability books like Jolthog, JolthogCryst, Depresso, Lamball
Some personal worker favorites like Lunaris, the Wixens and Katresses, HelzephyrLux are definitely worth the books.
When it comes to breeding, Celeray can be as much of a beast as Cinnamoth. And there are several alternate breeding paths depending on if someone wants to go full breeding or hunt a bit for some early pals.
Pro tips: If you put chests on top of a platform in your base so the pals can't physically reach it but it's still inside the blue ring, all pals with transport will be able to instantly put everything inside the box no matter where the box or work site is.
They will just sort of vibrate on the spot as they pick up items but can't path to the chest, so they just teleport the item into storage over and over multiple times per second.
I discovered this when I tried making a raid base on a cliff with three walls and an open area in the middle. The base itself was a failure as the teleportation attacks bellenoir and Blazamut have will make them teleport into the wall and instantly fail the raid, but they destroyed the base staircase and left my Anubis with no way back to the ammo chest he was using and lots of raw materials left over on the ground from the destruction. He started picking everything up and it all went straight into the box faster than if he could actually reach it.
Thanks Pocket Pair🤣👍🍝
Edit: Also, Fried Chickipi, and salad are the best base pal foods. Salad is the easiest to make and has the lowest satiety replenishment. So Pals will eat it more often than other food and receive the work speed buff more consistently.
Fried chickipi does the same but with an added buff to Sanity which let's you use faster work settings more easily. The only issue is that you will need to buy the chickipi in bulk, and have well optimized flour and egg production to keep up with how quickly they will eat it.
I just put whatever fried chickipi I can in the top left food slot, and salad to the right of that so they automatically switch to salad if we run out.
Nice. Gonna try out the chests on a platform trick.
Very good video so easy to follow! Thankyou!
i was literally just watching your one from two months ago when I saw this in the recommended great timing lmfao
Woohoo! Thanks for watching! And thank you, youtube algorithm!
Found and watched the first video this morning. Crazy timing for this one to come out as I get home 😂
Nice! At least you didn't start on the older list, and waste some cakes lol
Great video! Honestly great for a beginner like me
I have Anubis, astagon and blazamut ryu as miners/transporting (edit: I also have halzerphr lux for constant electric and transport) in a mining base/production on top of a mountain
my other base has a full food set up (every planting crop) and 4 farms (honey/milk/eggs/cloth and high quality pal oil) and 4 breeders and that's how I stop Anubis in my mining base from looking at food and keep fast transportation also I have felaris aqua with lyleen in my farming base I also use broncherry/aqua for fun and orserk for electricity (it's on Sakura Island for oil pump) and transport
This is my 2 main bases for everything to run smoothly
I had the similar thought with the jignis replacement due to the new books, but with flambelle instead since i like them better.
nice, will start my base re-planning, that ive been putting off for weeks
your videos are great i dunno how u dont have more subs
Thank you! I'm personally happy and grateful for the growth so far. It's already far beyond what I'd imagined 😁
WOAAHHH great stuff GG🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💯
i thought you mentioned about you making a video about how you'll describe every passive skills and what does each passive skill is about and for?
Yes sir, working on it. Still testing a few things out. This video took longer than I thought coz work's been busy :)
@Symoh1 thats great..just wanted to know if its coming..love your videos and thank you for all the content👊
nocturnal/ vampiric is actually not needed now.
handi work by splatrina
mining by astagon.
planting gathering by lyline noct, prunelia, lullu combo
only need if for fire and watering (not much needed unless making 1000 cake/dedicated gold base/skill fruit making.)
cooling by venwrme crist.
also astagon +falries is mensting that with lyleen is lyeen noct.
You need a kindling manual to rank up sootseer to rank 4 kindling and then condense it to rank 5 kindling and that's you rank 5 kindling pal without nocturnal but for watering it's the only skill it's still forced on unforunately. For handiwork you need manuals on a ribbuny to get them to handiwork 5 because they get a 400 workspeed boost when operating weapon assembly line 2 with 3 of them gets you instant 1k of any ammo in the game if they have artisan, workslave, remarkable craftmanship and serious
In my opinion, these are the best Pals for each stage of the game (Not going to say why unless someone asks otherwise the comment will be HUGE):
Keep in mind that I'm NOT taking breeding into consideration for Early game, therefore all the Pals for it are either bosses or found in the wild at areas below level 30-40ish. Also taking food consumption into consideration due to (probably) not having a stable production for it. Also no Cooling because it doesn't really make a big difference and no Ranching for obvious reasons.
Early Game:
Bushi for Kindling and Lumbering, Gobfin for Watering, Petallia for Planting and Medicine, Verdash for Gathering and Handiwork, Univolt for Electricity, Tombat for Mining, Vanwyrm for Transporting.
Mid Game:
Jormuntide Ignis for Kindling, Jormuntide for Watering, Lyleen for Planting and Medicine, Orserk for Elecricity, Anubis for Handiwork and Mining (Can use Astegon for Mining), Verdash for Gathering, Bushi for Lumbering, Vanwyrm for Transporting.
Late Game:
(Since most of the Mid Game Pals are also used in Late Game, I'll consider the use of up to 1-2 Applied Technique Manuals per Suitability. Also Nocturnal = Passive Skill)
Blaze Howl Noct for Kindling, Nocturnal Faleris Aqua for Watering and Transporting (Transporting for a Food Production base), Prunelia for Planting and Gathering (Can combine with Nocturnal Lullu for Planting), Helzephyr Lux for Electricity and Transporting (Transporting for a Mining base), Splatterina for Handiwork and Medicine, Bushi Noct for Lumbering, Astegon for Mining.
Yes, I do know about Knocklem but I prefer naturally Nocturnal Pals, therefore Astegon and Helzephyr Lux instead of him on a Mining base. On a Farming base, I prefer Faleris Aqua since most of the time it will not be working since the only thing it needs to do is water the plants and use the mill once in a while (basically 2 in 1), along with Prunelia being the Gatherer since she is already nocturnal and a great Planter, so also 2 in 1.
If you don't want to take Manuals and/or Nocturnal into consideration, just take the highest Suitability ones or the ones that you find to be the most convenient for your base.
Nice, I like your lists. Thanks for taking the time to write all this.
One question...for early game you have bushi and petallia, which are both 20+, so any reason you went with gobfin instead of Azurobe and univolt instead of grizzbolt which can both be found in santuary #1 like petallia. Just curious if petallia can be found elsewhere at lower level besides the boss one or the santuary?
@@Symoh1 You're welcome :D
I completely forgot about Azurobe lol, although I still prefer Gobfin because you can find hundreds of them pretty easily in the Gobfin Turf, making him 4 stars with the same level as Azurobe, but with a higher work speed and half the food requirement. There's also the chance that one of the 65 you get come with nice work skills, so even faster.
I chose Univolt since in early game you shouldn't need a lot of energy, so Univolt can easily take care of it while needing less food than Grizzbolt.
As far as I know, only in those 2 places before Sakurajima.
I have an elevated platform going 3 stairs up and my faleris aqua still manages to get stuck on it constantly lol
Lol maybe it doesn't like ceilings. I'm thinking of eventually replacing mine with Celaray or Pengullet.
I got a bunch of watering manuals so i shoved them on an a lucky teafant that has remarkable craftmanship, artisan and serious (i wish it was workslave) which i actually caught while i was running around with a yakumo with those skills + workslave trying to catch a rooby with them
Lyleen with Lifmunk? You've got three better choices than Lifmunk _in this video_ with Lullu, Prunelia and Shroomer Noct.
Personally I'll probably be setting up Incineram with Mining, Handiwork and Kindling and buffing Vanwyrm's Transport, Vanwyrm Cryst's Cooling and Helzephyr Lux's Generating and Transport. Not sure if I want to do Celeray(size), Penking(secondary suitabilities) or Faleris Aqua(Transport speed) for Watering, or hold on to those books in hopes of the datamined Croajiro Noct being in the next update.
My lifmunk and digtoise choices are less about optimization and more that they're two of my favorite pals, and I want to have a reason to use them in the base 😁
wow i like this style
Why is the spreadsheet censored?
It's just a tease, lol. I showed it at the end of the video. Also, there is a link in the description to download it :)
@@Symoh1 lmao me a fool,
Do you have a ranch guide?
It's a syndicate cover up
Lets play breeding again :) your last video was awesome and this will be too. Tnahks !!
Thank you! Hope you like it!
Great video thanks! got my sub
Felaris aqua looks cool but flying pals still get stuck on everything? I haven't played in a while and managing jormintide was a lot earlier than managing the flyers
I guess it depends on the base layout. My Jormuntides get stuck constantly, but I have no issues with any flyers. I've been using my Faleris aqua for the last 2 weeks now, and no issues so far :)
just a tip, at the sanctuary, if you are in a flying pal riding it, never get down from the pal so you will never get wanted levels. Great video btw, i was following your old one and this one came in handy since I just started a world again.
I think that it was a bug and they've fixed it, now if one of the officers sees you, you get the wanted level
An alternative is scatter launcher with homing module because carpal
Assuming I have Remarkable Craftsman, Artisan, and Vampiric, Is it better to use Workaholic or Serious for the last passive? Also, regular Blazamut is normally my choice for kindler, and with the addition of work suitability books, one kindeling book puts it to max level.
Personally, I would say serious. There are so many ways to passively buff sanity that you won't have any sanity issues once you reach a certain point.
What’s the breed combo for faleris
Do you have a recommendation for a loadout for a default 15 pal main base?
Honestly, it depends on your playstyle, preferences, and the resources you need to prioritize. But a general loadout would include all the pals I listed. You can just double up on certain pals, depending on the resources you need. If you're also looking to fit ranch pals in the 15 slots, then remove verdash and add beegarde, mozzarina and chikipi. That way, you cake make cakes too. Hope this answers your question 😁
Awesome guide! Many thnx! Just a question tho, does the effect of Lulu, Shroomer, and Prunelia stack if I added more than one in the base or is it like the boost item and having more than one has no additional effect?
Thank you! As far as I know, it doesn't stack.
@ Thnx 4 the reply.
@@Symoh1 They stack. 4 star shroomers cap out at 6. Lullu and prunelia have no cap, but you will quickly run into diminishing returns.
Interesting. That's good to know. I'd tested this, and it didn't seem to work. Need to try again then.
@@Symoh1 so with shroomers it's 15% for each maxed one, capping at 90%. Lullu and prunelia work a bit different. Maxed lullu is 50%, so for example if a crop had a 360 sec timer, the first lullu brings it to 180, second to 90, third to 45, fourth to 22.5, etc.
Haven't messed with prunelia, but from what I understand she uses the same multiplic formula as lullu.
For astegons partner skill / extra ore drop , does this affect the new hexalyte quartz ?
Unfortunately, no. It only affects Ore specifically.
@ no worries , my current set up is a passive 3 hexalyte base and when I need a bunch I get on my surfent terra’s and collect like 3 k by running on a alpha speedster version of it
if i dont wanna have to deal with using Jorn Ignis until i can get Ryu, would someone like normal Blazamut be good for Kindling? with my new base set up i 100% see Jorm getting stuck all the time
Blazamut works. Other good alternatives with 3 kindling are Sootseer (dark type), suzaku, faleris/ragnahawk (both also great for transport)
@Symoh1 ohhhh I didn't even think of sootseer, good call on that. I'll definitely give them a try, if not I'll go with ragnahawk since it's smaller than faleris
Nice. Could you do an ultimate combat breeding guide please?
Sure, I have a few ideas on the list. Are you looking for anything specific?
@@Symoh1I’m struggling to find that perfect squad. I’m kind of struggling with hard mode tower bosses and raid bosses
Sure, I'll put something together. In the meantime, if you haven't tried it already...try fully condensed felbat+gobfins for hard mode bosses. Felbat's ability is so powerful that you can heal through lots of boss attacks. My first time, I was able to beat them with Felbat (legend, serenity, musclehead, ferocious), 3 gobfins + 1 galeclaw (vanguard, stronghold strategist), 4 assault rifles (the burst was great for sustain).
@@Symoh1I have all those passives spread around different pals. I need to figure out how to bring them together and put them on a yakumo or two.
Check out the breeding calculator on paldb.cc...for one of the options it gives... you can pick the parent and child (yakumo), and it will give you all the combos to get to yakumo.
One thing I forgot to mention, Jormuntide ignis and Knocklem are boss killers too. I haven't done this yet, but I'm planning to breed them with Demon god, Legend, Vampiric, Serenity. They were tough to kill before, they'd be unkillable with vampiric. And Jormuntide ignis is easily one of the best raid pals, too.
this was a great vid i appreciate
So having at least one of each will greatly boost my base?
Yup, definitely. You can just add more depending on your resource needs or crafting priorities :)
Does farming become obsolete at some point or what?
It becomes obsolete as soon as you can spend money on the crops from traders imo, though even if obsolete you can always just still use it.
Yep, for certain items...if you have enough gold. I got rid of my berry & wheat plantations, cows and chickens coz I can just buy them in bulk when I need ingredients for cakes.
@morgan3714 I dont think it is ever fully obsolete. I am lv 51 and I have 4 plots making carrots and 4 for onions to allow me to make stir fried vegetables for both players and the base pals.
Now the basic ingredients I never grow those anymore
Thanks to everyone who replied
3:05 where is 17?
Both 16 & 17 are coded for transport, so I just didn't list 17
Ive managed to get all the new rainbow passives but vampiric 😅
Haha, same!
I rather craft a bunch of cooking pots and only take the food if its needed. Only if I let run my Pc over night or play on a server I have a cooling pal for the time I am not playing
Interesting. I might have to employ that tactic. I have 2 refrigerators full of ingredients lol.
Once you get the guild chest you can use that as food storage as it doesnt age in there.
I keep my ingredients in there and let my stir fried vegetables just sit in a normal food box for pals so I can avoid having a cooling pal in my base. When I make 1k food for my pals I dont really care if I lose a bunch to decay.
Also, you can turn off ingredient storage on all your chests and your pals will store ingradients in the guild chest
Will anyone send that link so I can download the chart?
It's in the description :)
@Symoh1 it's not showing the link
docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1907qI9Es_j_X13IuMB9z42_GlS7qQhTFT6iw0matA20/htmlview
@Symoh1 thanks buddy muchly appreciated
Awesome video btw bro
I'm a bit confused as to the setup of the video. I thought it was about breeding all the best base palls starting from 4 pals but it's actually "catch these 4 but don't actually only use these for breeding"?
The first 4 pals are to start the breeding chain. They are used in the first 2 combos and show up a few more times in the chain. Every combo chain builds off the previous, starting with the 4 starting pals :)
A tip for starter breeding setup: farm the black marketeer for gold using the trap campfire setup, you can get petalia and beegarde
Use the gold to buy cake ingredients from the merchant at the small settlement
A cake should total about 2650 gold excluding the honey but thats what beegarde is for, id still recommend getting all the ranch pals for sustain.
Some optional buys from the black marketeer are warsect and cawgnito for a blazehowl.
I forgot but two good pals for starters is lvl3 kindling reptyro which you can get from the pal merchant and azurobe for lvl3 watering
Good tip. I always forget farming the black marketeer for gold is a thing, lol.
I DONT LIKE THE NOCTURNAL PASSIVE
Aww, any particular reason?
Another person who thinks pizza is better than salad... disappointing. The work speed buff is gone by the time they eat again.
You're right. In a direct comparison, salad is better. But there's just so many ways to buff work speed and stuff now that it's just diminishing returns, and the difference is just unnoticeable.
