Been here many times in the past and always found the people lovely. The town and Abbey are famous and worth a look. Locally there’s a town called Brionne which has a Sunday morning market which is fabulous. I bought real home made black pudding made with proper blood and not powdered “stuff” as well as 25 scallops for £17 and home smoked bacon. Stunning feast for £25 for two. The quality was way above anything you’d ever expect from a shop. Brilliant. 👍🏻
Looks like a lovely site, thanks for showing us around. I loved seeing the concrete ping pong table, reminds me of family hols as a kid! Looking forward to the next installment, we love the Loire Valley area, although haven't visited for about 20 years. Safe journey, cheers 👍
Could you cut the cable where it’s damaged and put socket on and hopefully you will have another cable depending on how long you can make, just instead of throwing it ?
My hedge trimmer cable looks just like your cable Graham, but my hedge trimmer cable has more black tape, probably every foot, used to be 25 meters long and now 5 meters long 😬⚡️.
Ok I can see the insulation on the blue Neutral wire is damaged, but is that the yellow earth wire that looks like it’s cut. If it is either junk the cable or remake the end, it’ll be a bit shorter but safer.
Just goes to show you £25 a night would probably be £40 in the UK. We pretty much always go to Loire region or that sort of far down. Never had terrible weather yet. Yes sometimes more mixed but saves another 5 to 6 hours of driving with the van.
Yes, we had rain at the weekend for 2 days, but warming up now. 37 tomorrow. It's noticeably different to the south, much more like the UK whereas south is more like Spain.. Thanks for watching..
Spooky, I've just got rid of the cable that came with our van. It had black insulation tape around the middle. 7 years we've used it like that with no issues!😮
@CaravanWithThatYorkshireChap To be fair, it survived some horrendous Lake District and Welsh weather. I have wire strippers etc in van so was always prepared to shorten it if needed.

We have stayed here before this video allowed us to to see our old pitch. I remember we liked the bar and we should have stayed more than one night
Congrats on 10k subs Graham
Thanks!
That looks like my lawn mower cable 😂
Cheers for that Graham. Site looked brill 👌 Enjoy the rest of your travels. Regards, Mo 😊👍
Thanks for watching. We’ve liked 2 out of the 4 sites we’ve been on. That was one and the one we’re on now is the other 👍🏻

Nice site Graham 👍 I notice there were no hardstanding pitches but excellent value 👍. Lesson learnt when trailing the cable 🤭. Cheers, Rob & Gail 😀

Not sure that the earth was damaged, I’m using the 10 meter and I’ll replace when back in the uk 🇬🇧

Yeah nah...with the wires exposed it's dangerous and you need to ditch it!!!.❤️🇬🇧
