왈왈이분들 안녕하세요! 우리 루시가 열,아지랑이로 컴백한지 4달도 채되지 않았는데!! 23.12.05! 루시가 부기맨컨셉으로 이번년도 3번째 컴백을 하였습니다!! (와!!) 이번 컨셉은 루시가 해본적 없는 첫 컨셉이라 어떤 느낌의 노래가 나올까? 했는데 아니 근데 진짜 기대이상이네요!!! 루시=신 그자체.. 그리고 매번 루시 노래를 들을 때마다 느끼는거지만 루시는 항상 노래가사가 노래 분위기와 맞고 포근한거 같아요..ㅠ 아 물론 이번 루시 신곡은 포근함이아닌 강하구 공포스러운 분위기인거 같아요! 근데 그게 이전의 루시 컨셉에 반전되는 느낌이 있어 더 좋은거 같아요!! 아 이건 제 tmi지만.. 오늘 루시의 컴백일이자 제 생일이에요..ㅎ히 그래서 그런지 더 기분이 좋은거 같아요!! 같이 루시 컴백을 기다려주신 모든 왈왈분들 다 너무 감사하구..항상 루시만 바라봐여 왈왈선배님들!! 긴 글 읽어주셔서 감사해요:)

그걸 모티브로 곡을 만드신것같아여
공포스러운 소재인 노크소리를 곡 중간에 킬포인트로
넣어서 환기시켜주는 느낌이 물씬나는것 같아여
그리고 이런곡에선 피아노 윗선율을 빼면 섭섭하죠
적재적소에 치고빠지는 피아노소리도 곡의 몰입감을 높여주고
일렉기타의 파워코드로 계속 긴장감을 조여주고
디스토션 이펙트가 자동탑재된 보컬이 노래를 이끌어가며
워킹베이스주법으로 화려한 베이스라인을 보여주고
발베이스로 저희의 심장을 치면서 박자를 가지고 노는 드럼에
어떤 멜로디를 연주하면 저희가 좋아하는지 아는

Boogie Man is SO rich with highlights- that intro, the knock, that part where other noise was blocked and there was only Sangyeop’s voice, everything really! This just shows how much they have grown, quality-wise, I think this is their best one yet. LUCY, FIGHTING!

This comeback is another break through. They all look so gorgeous. The outfit, the style, the vocal, the setting, the story plot and even the animation match the concept and music so well. Lucy's creativity is borderless! Also, am I the only who wanna praise their acting and performance in the MV? Their acting in Boogie Man MV is of no joke. Yeop's eyes kill me. Wonsand playing piano is another classic and Yechanie's outfit and violin solo can be marked in musical history.

What was superband? I’ve only known them as Lucy (the group with violinist)
@@nakynaki it was a survival show where many independent musicians (take for example yechan who used to do street performances) competed to form the ultimate band. The winner band was promised money, an album and a tour. They eliminated some people and finally there were 4 bands left to fight for the prize (the bands were formed on the show with the people who was left). Lucy was one of them, but instead of Sangyeop there was another singer. Lucy actually got second place! But the original main vocalist already had a group and decided to go back to them (if I remember correctly), so yechan, gwangil and woosang remained together and instead they added Sangyeop who was also in the show but was eliminated.
Fun fact is that gwang il was originally competing as a vocalist, but then offered to play the drums and that how he ended up as their drummer (I think he also played the bass with another group in the competition)

Am I the only one who first heard the instrumental and thought it sounded like an anime ost? The song is phenomenal overall, that part just stuck with me while listening.

진짜 대단한 점이 한둘이 아님. 일단 엄청나게 빠른 컴백과 작업 속도, 그럼에도 난이도나 수준이 전혀 떨어지는게 아니라 오히려 컨셉에 충실하면서도 퀄리티가 높음.. 뮤비에 떡밥이 많아서 해석하는 재미가 있고 왈왈이들이 다양하게 해석할 수 있도록 미리 적당히 풀어주기까지ㅠ 애들이 버블로 맨날 일한다고 하는 이유가 있었다
그리고 원상아 밤새가며 편집하고 프로듀싱 하느라 고생많았어 베이스 레전드. 예찬이는 이번에 바이올린으로 소름끼치는 분위기 엄청 잘 만들었고.. 상엽이는 하 렌즈랑 가슴팍 뭔데.. 여며줘 나 미쳐; 광일이는 욕조씬 뭐야 하 진짜 루시야 왈왈이들 쓰러지는거 보고싶냐고ㅜ

This has such a Vocaloid and/or Utaite flair to it, this style sounds so familiar as if I already listened to 20 different covers of it a decade ago. Really glad to discover such a gem with really interesting and dynamic production. Despite the obvious Japanese influence, it manages to sound authentic to them. The music video is also reminiscent of those videos and it's really well made.
Now this is what I call MASTERPIECE
Holy cow lucy always goes beyond my expectation, they are so amazing, and i would love to see them live one day, it is beyond me how they aren't super popular right now.
WOW! The musical composition on this is so good. Reminds me of like Panic at the disco + Fallout Boy + McFly + some jpop anime opening all in one. Chord progression, Vocals, Drum pattern, that killer bass riff, violin solo to breakdown. All top notch. Not sure if people realize that this is some high quality musical composing.
