@Dokken1975 Thanks for checking out this review and sharing your thoughts! The overall look of this figure is definitely worth the purchase. I think the articulation is decent for the design. The problem is the shoulder gaurds really hinder the arms. It still has a little better articulation than some of the larger Mcfarlane figures on the market that get stuck and feel really cheap at the joints. I reviewed a few of those Mcfarlane figures! The quality isn't perfect, but it still feels like a solid figure, in my opinion, aside from some of the loose joints in the legs and arms. The removable helmet is definitely the coolest part with that Goblin head.

Damn, that mo-fo is HUGE and it looks amazing !! 😃 I love that they made the arms detachable, which is something I am complaining about since day one... If they can do it on Origins, I see no reason why they wouldn't do it with Masterverse as well and the same goes for torso! I am surprised you didn't test POTP Hordak's head on this body (for the sake of recreating the She-Ra kidnapping scene 😃 ) and ofc now I wonder if Hordak's arms would fit on it too. 😂 I love this figure but I do hope we'll get a slightly smaller, more vintage-looking Troopers (two pack maybe?) in the line for army building, as to me, this one feels more like a captain or something. 🙂 As always, great review! 🙂
@hegga_nm Thanks for watching as always! Yeah, they really made this figure huge! I think it's interesting that the arms are removable now. I wonder if they originally had plans to add green Goblin arms to match the included Goblin head before of the sockets that show with the arms off. I actually tried the Masterverse POP Arms after the review. I didn't get time to pull him from the shelves and show if the arms work because he is the Masterverse figure with removable arms, as you know. The pegs are much smaller, and the arms don't fit. So that's another reason I didn't try the head either. I also tried some storm collectibles mortal kombat arms. The can fit in tightly. But they can't articulate well because the sockets are round, and the green Horde Arm connectors are straight tube inserts. I was gonna film all this and bring the Horde trooper back in my last Masterverse review video, but I felt none of that really worked and helped most people add arms without custom work. So, for anyone who asks those questions in the comments, I will then just answer from trying it with my figure. The legs can also come apart, apparently. But I couldn't get mine apart easily. So I skipped that for now.
Been playing major catchup on a bunch of videos and podcasts. The past month and a half has been crazy busy for my family and me with hurricanes, work, vacation in NYC, elections and finishing up the first season of my own Sliders podcast, which is the new retro review series we’re covering. Anyway, on to the Horde Trooper: it really is a huge figure! It looks really good! I’m not sure how I feel about the goblin zombie-like head, only because I’m just so used to the idea of the Troopers being mindless automatons. It’s interesting that the arms are removable on this one. Only thing I can think of is perhaps that’s meant to be a substitute for the “collapsing armor” feature on the vintage and Origins figures. You know, like somebody punches the armor and the arms explode, or something like that. I don’t know… 🤷🏻♂️ Only real thing I find odd is that removable plate on the back where the weapons clip into. Just seems kind of redundant when they could have easily made it part of the armor’s mold, since that can also be removed. Other than that, really great figure and review! ~Damon
@@FandomEntanglement Thanks for watching another review as always! I hope you and your family are well! This is definitely an interesting design for a Masterverse Horde trooper. It's my theory that Horde Troopers were designed to be both a suit of armor and a robot. So essentially they were walking talking suits of armor. Much like the Ironman suit in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Tony could wear the suit or he could operate it from a separate location.
Thanks for watching! Yeah, I also agree with that theory about the suits. It was never really explained or pointed out in the She-Ra animation in the day. But anything goes in the land Motu. The Masterverse Goblin concept is just another new idea for the Horde troopers with the New Eternia line.

@TheIMMORTALKAHNHD Thanks for watching and sharing that info. Yeah, the missing arms could definitely be some more battle damage added with the removal of the shoulder armor. But the arm sockets are green and very clean looking. I would think battle damage arms would have extra plug-in pieces that look shredded. I have some other figures from companies like Neca or Storm Collectibles that add battle damage arms that plug into the main arm sockets that are removable for a Battle damage look.

Haven’t got my MASTERVERSE HORDE TROOPER did get 3
Maybe a slushhead(new adventures) Masterverse?? May check that out when I get my troopers
Im stoked for my horde troopers coming
@MarkMorgan-j4y Thanks for watching, and I hope you get your Horde trooper figures in hand soon! I actually looked at Slush's head, and the green was still off from the goblin head.
I think I did see post on preternia to show it could have like battle damage with missing limbs and suit.
dont hold me to them as source tho. Mines on way shipping delivery date keeps changing.
Evidently. Not only do the arms come off, but they also breakdown into smaller parts.
@@Shaitanshammer Yeah I read they seperate along with the legs. I couldn't get mine apart during cuts when making the review. It felt like the joints were gonna snap. I'm gonna try some heat to remove them later.
They shipped mine the end of the sale date! 😊
Well, at least it's coming, and you got one before it sold out! It's worth the wait.👍
@@Themanchlid Got three. 😊
Did took 15 minutes to finalize the order for some reason. I had to refresh and clear history first then sign in again. 😩
I bought two, they should be here maybe tomorrow. I don’t even collect New Eternia but I had to get this. One to keep sealed and one to open of course.
@Dokken1975 Congrats on getting two. They look incredible for Horde Troopers. I only got one. I just don't have the room for multiple figures anymore. Hopefully, you will get your figures soon! Thanks for watching 👌
Wonder how the Goblin head looks on the stranger things Skelly....;)
@@Thejesusmarquez The head will fit well on any Skeletor body from the Origins or Masterverse series. I was just trying to find a figure with greenish or a green grey mix to somewhat match the goblin head color. The Stranger Things Skeletor is very dark in blue. Thanks for watching 👌
A first-rate review of NE Horde Trooper and his cool accessories!
@@aaronscott5882 Thanks for watching as always! He is one awesome looking Masterverse figure!👍
@@Themanchlid Phenomenal work!👍
The last Merman maybe works better?
@@cristian.crixus I also looked at figures like the New Eternia Mer-Man and Slush head. They could also work because of the green bodies. But the colors are still off from this Goblin head.
@ Man Child just recently bought some Kaiser stands I don’t think it’s the ones you use can you give # of the ones you prefer??
Got the #2075(6 1/2 - 11in )
I find Therese too much waist band on the ones I got

@MarkMorgan-j4y Thanks for stopping in to check out this review! I sent the link from the Ebay seller that i usually get my kaiser stands from with the smaller waist clips. Some sellers have those extra large clips. They are also good to have for certain figures. But the smaller ones work better for most of the Masterverse waists.
Looks like the bat on the chest could go on the body once the shoulders are removed
Yes, you can snap the bat on the body with armor off. It kind of doesn't make sense to me because it's originally set on the main armor, and if that gets knocked off in battle, then so will the bat insignia. The legs also can remove this figure, but I couldn't get mine off. Thanks for checking out the review 👍
😎 I am NOT buying anything from Mattel creations. If it does not release to big bad toy store, Walmart or target, I'm passing on it. This figure should have been a general release at normal prices, not a Deluxe price or size. They did not Need to make it so large to be a Deluxe figure. If it would have released as a regular figure, people would have been able to afford to army build it. My opinion, this is a pass for me, Vote with your wallets. If you like, it buy it, I choose not to. Thanks for reviewing it!
@CoolToysandCoolThings Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts on this figure! Yeah, it would have been to release this Horde trooper to other places aside from Mattel Creations. There might be a chance BBTS could get some preorders of these later. Sometimes, certain Mattel Creations figures show up there in limited supply.
@Themanchlid ya, Just saying they did not need to make this a Deluxe figure And I really wish that they made it a robot. 🤖
@@CoolToysandCoolThings Maybe we will see another version of a Masterverse Regular size Horde trooper with the newer Masterverse Vintage collection coming next year.
I’ve had nothing but a good experience with Mattel Creations…if you look at retail today the MOTU section is tiny. But BBTS does occasionally get some exclusives.
@MrUniq BBTS is my preferred Online toy store. Their Pile of loot flat rate shipping is awesome.
Wow, an all new mold.
@@kup98ss49 Thanks for stopping by already! Yep all new tooling and accessories!👍
Cool figure
@@Nobody18718 Thanks for checking it out!👌
That goblin head looks like Nosferatu
@hailheaven4372 Yeah, a little bit! 👍
@@Themanchlid it look good on a Matvel legends that has clothing like Nosferatu or some other Vampire
@hailheaven4372 I only have a couple of Marvel Legends figures. I don't usually collect them. But that head could definitely work on certain figures with that peg.
Not a fan of the "goblin" concept. I prefer mine to be robots, but I did buy 3 of them.
Thanks for checking out this review! I think the Horde Goblin is an interesting take on these New Eternia Horde troopers for Masterverse. But you always put another head inside or just keep them robots, as you mentioned 👍
Mattel creations sucks cause shipping is not avaiable in my country again!!! Now it sold out !! 😢😢😢
Oh, that stinks! I thought they fixed the outside of the USA shipping issues. I checked Mattel Creations yesterday, and the Troopers were still available. I guess they just sold out then.

@@masterfarr8265omg. Are you still crying about that. Jesus Christ move on already.
has a trollan inside !!!
@Luperko-oh1wp Yeah, I remember seeing those in the She-Ra cartoon. They are calling this a Horde goblin on the Mattel Creations site. So im not sure if it's supposed to be a new Eternia version of the Filmation Trollans or the regular small ones. Thanks for watching and sharing the info!👍

This figure could be a good custom of the red/green mech armor seen in MOTU Revolution.
@shumworld Yeah, maybe the Masterverse has plans to use some of these Horde trooper parts for the mech armor that was in that revolution cartoon scene. 👍
