It's crazy to think that when I started going to Ibiza back in the late 90's San Antonio never had these beach walkways, shown here at 25.23, (excluding the one along side of the marina) along the beach, just the narrow pavements on the side of the main road (parallel with the fair and Es Paradis) or the walkways from the old bus station terminal roundabout to Cafe Del Mar/Mambo. We used to take the short cut and walk along the cliff / rock edge to get to the bars!. It also never had the motorways on the island as it has now just old roads and old non-air conditioned buses and we used to ride our mopeds without helmets (not a good idea now!). But I loved it so much, I even got married there at Hacienda Na Xamena in 2010. Although now when I stay on the island I stay on the outskirts of the Old Town,, has my night life choices/friendships etc, have just changed with age. But of all the places that I have visited around the world, Eivissa remains my personal best place to visit out of them all.
