Indeed while they may have factored into why he was upset but the biggest part was him feeling betrayed and angry that wei Ying broke his promise and chose a group of wens over staying with him and Yanli. He thought they were family but Wei Ying chose the people who Jiang Cheng blamed for the destruction of their home...he couldn't see that these wens were innocent. He did many things wrong but people tend to forget that while he did it for a very good reason he still indeed broke his promise. Miscommunications everybody! I love the Jiang trio so much. Lan Wangji fue egoísta por no dejarlos hablar pero el solo pensó en el bienestar de Wei Ying el cual se sacrificaba por todos y nadie por el por eso no lo culpo yo hubiera hecho lo mismo

I always felt that Jiang Cheng did not see Wei Wuxian as a brother he was his father or father figure so when he broke his promise he felt as if he did not love him because he is used to having him around to support and comfort him when he was scorned of course when he made his own life he was not going to want to in this case the impact was worse because he protected the Wen who destroyed his home and his parents who never truly loved him to end his mother's venom against WWX made that when Yanli sacrificed herself for her brother her hatred grew even more because her sister died for someone other than the one who did have her blood. Yes, in the end, Jiang Cheng had such a huge inferiority complex that it grew over the years and became pure selfishness. Lan Wangji was selfish for not letting them talk, but he only thought of the welfare of Wei Ying who sacrificed himself for everyone and no one for him, so I don't blame him, I would have done the same.
