- Fed Vice Chair Donald Kohn testified before the Financial Services Committee today, along with John Bovenzi of the FDIC. The Fed's balance sheet has expanded by $1.2 trillion since September 1. Where did the money go? Kohn wouldn't say.

It appears that you were one of the first US Congressman to go for protecting justice in 2009. I wish to follow you more frequently now in 2013.I live in North Wales in the UK where many people & their families are unemployed & relying on food banks.I myself am a retired disabled person. Recent events have lead me to believe that their were no decent citizens living in the USofA today. You Rep Alan Grayson have made me realise I was wrong ! I am mindful of the City of London contribution.

I'm Canadian and even I found Kohn's refusal to name specific institutions to be infuriating. Alan Grayson is a very rare species of politician; a Democrat with a spine who is not afraid to speak his mind and who is actually able to feel outraged by the chicanery of these prevaricating, slimy individuals in the Fed.
