siendo sinceros bajo mi punto de vista la música electrónica de cualquier genero, esta en decadencia la mayoría opta por lo genérico, tiesto es un ejemplo claro a diferencia de armin van buuren, no obstante, en la actualidad también esta por sonidos genéricos, sinceramente escuchar este set de kygo trae demasiada nostalgia y es un ejemplo de que pudo ser mejor que la actualidad. aunque tampoco es tan malo a diferencia de SHM que si con su regreso trataron de copiar en parte su trabajo o ir por lo genérico. no digo que este mal, solo espero que dejen de lado la mediocridad a pesar de ser difícil encontrar sonidos nuevos a su estilo. pero bueno solo es una opinión personal aunque el UMF del 2016 aun mantiene parte de esta esencia mágica.

Everyone left this day at Tomorrowworld knowing Kygo was up next!!! Literally months later he blew up, congrats to him.. RIP Avicii :(

I was in this crowd. We were at the main stage waiting to see avicii. When he dropped out we were too lazy to go out and find a different set to watch. Best decision ever, my fav set of all time in all my years going to festivals.
I see people saying all KYGO songs sound like the same , but what artist on the planet makes songs with different style ? he has his style and it will not change for two people who comment without thinking. It isn't easy to make remix , and the harder it is to be creative as he is . Do not forget that it is very young, my age . Over the years you learn :D

I agree, his songs all start with that same beat and have that piano beat, but I love it and I think he killed the Miami 82 song remix. But I see what you mean, very similar.
Unless you're Knife Party who manages to fucking killing every EDM genre and subgenre they produce, you're gonna have a unique style (the signature Kygo pluck, etc). His stuff obviously has found a great fan base thats behind his moves and very very very easily attracts and hooks new listeners as well. The sound that brought him fame and fortune is not going away, unless he makes a conscious decision. And then if he does switch, Vin Diesel (and other fans) will fkn revolt.

Kygo is amazing. He's just playing at the wrong venue with all the people hyped up on drugs. I hope that there'll be a music festival with more chilled music like Kygo, Bakermat and Klingande where you don't need to be tipsy or drugged up to enjoy it. Maybe a bit of the ganja.
I don't think he really replaced avicii because i don't think avicii would have played on daytime... Avicii was off the list of the acts and kygo was set in, but from the bottom and everyting was moved up to fill the "avicii gap" if you get what i mean. I'm sure some deserved dj got to take aviciis ,probably perfect, settime :)

I saw kygo live in Amsterdam, and I have to say it was the best live performance I have ever seem/heard. It was amazing. I love house, and especially Martin Garrix but now I also love kygo and tropical house.
KYGO is such an Avicii... dude sings along to the music he mixes, he enjoys every second of his set, he is rarely on the mike then there's the hand and bounce along to his music....
Yh but for Avicii, touring wasn't really for him. Kygo loves touring but at the start Avicii loved touring but as he went further into it, he eventually gave up enjoying it. But the rest is true.

Kygo is my favorite DJ..He makes me feel young again and his music electrifies my bones..Although we grow old, we must always take care of ourselves and think young at all times..Stay forever young :)
Trust me when I say this, but Kygo's set was great. I loved the deep house mixes. It was a good time to save the energy to rage even more that night. Now the only problem I had with his set was he played the entire song. It sounded recorded. Not truly DJing. But then again he was nervous as fuck.
You know, here in Norway, our gigs are full when 200ppl are there, its at least 1000-2000 at Tomorrowworld :P and i truly agree, the mix sounded recorded
With the way his music is structured, it's also kinda hard to mix in the middle. I feel like he has not other choice. But yeah, he could've also been nervous because the crowd here is different than when he played at TomorrowLand.

But its important that uknow the fact, that its like just 1 and a half year since he first got attention on the Norwegian television. So much hate here, i agree some of his songs are pretty similiar but jesus its tropical house. If you only have listened to 1-2 songs you should definetly try some more, perhaps Firestone, Cut Your Teeth, Miami 82, Younger .. if you hate on this guy you're probably an Avicii or Calvin Harris fan (Most Avicii/Calvin fans are calling Kygo ''slow and boring''), i never really liked tropical house until i started listening to Kygo, this guy is a beast. Give him a chance, listen to the songs i mentoined earlier before you start throwing shit at him .. oh and btw if you like Avicii, listen to Epsilon by Kygo.

Why would someone hate on Kygo just because they were a Avicii or Calvin fan? Avicii is my favorite DJ of all time, and Kygo 2nd. Also Avicii is Kygo's Idol and where he gets inspiration from!
Didn't say Avicii or Calvin Harris was bad, there's a difference between electronic music and tropical music which mostly Avicii & Calvin Harris fans can't see and they're just calling it 'boring' and 'slow'.

I'm soon to be 61 years old on the 29th of Dec and I must say that i really love this young man"s mix of music..I sing some of his songs on thisiskaraoke.com known as TIK..It's so much fun, found my voice about eight years ago, better late than never! Kygo is my favorite DJ..He makes me feel young again and his music electrifies my bones..Although we grow old, we must always take care of ourselves and think young at all times..Stay forever young :)

Trust me when I say this, but Kygo's set was great. I loved the deep house mixes. It was a good time to save the energy to rage even more that night. Now the only problem I had with his set was he played the entire song. It sounded recorded. Not truly DJing. But then again he was nervous as fuck.
You know, here in Norway, our gigs are full when 200ppl are there, its at least 1000-2000 at Tomorrowworld :P and i truly agree, the mix sounded recorded

With the way his music is structured, it's also kinda hard to mix in the middle. I feel like he has not other choice. But yeah, he could've also been nervous because the crowd here is different than when he played at TomorrowLand.

But its important that uknow the fact, that its like just 1 and a half year since he first got attention on the Norwegian television. So he career has practically just started, and he is already played on TomorrowLand, i just have to say I`m really impressed how fast he is developing.
