First it starts out as a 10-75 which is the most common type of fire. Then it goes to all hands, they can even add an extra engine+truck or whatever is needed. Then it goes to 2nd, 3rd, so on and so forth. Sometimes it can be a 2nd alarm on arrival, etc.
@@finbrr ahh thanks ! Appreciate it, idk how my home town in the outskirts of Boston goes , but I noticed yesterday after talking to them, their response is way different from my current cities! Thank you!
Starts off with an assignment of 3 engines, 2 trucks, 1 BC. A 10-75 is a working fire. All-Hands is essentially an enhanced working fire assignment that isn’t yet a full 2nd alarm that calls one additional engine and one additional truck above the total 10-75 assignment of 4 engines and 3 trucks.
What an incredibly bloated fire agency. Dime to a dollar, pictures at the scene show 27 chiefs yelling at each other on the radio and 2 firefighters in a tower ladder putting out the fire. The rest standing around.
2:48 Wow, I’ve never heard the FDNY respond with a standard PA300 Siren system. Usually they have their own custom made PA300. Very interesting.
This seems like a lot of units for a single family structure fire
nice catch, a lot of units responding what was the truck behind the bus?
looks like that was an EMS logistics support
@@socalfirebuff91377 yea that was an EMS support unit
Yup
Wow this is a heavy response for a 3rd(?) Alarm
Great catches dude, cool to see all the different units responding
you're camera focus was very bad when the fire bus came by
What's the siren they're running at 4:46?
It’s like a Federal Signal Smart siren but this one has more tones. I can’t remember what’s it’s called but it’s a federal signal SL something.
I love Ladder 168!😊❤
Great catch, love your videos
Thank you!
awesome! glad you made this into a compilation!
Awesome catch
awesome video an great footage on it
Wow the rain might beat these guys in putting the fire out😂
excellent epic Richmond catch
Nice catch with satellite 5
What is the car at 10:27
Probably emergency management. (The people who run the 911 system for police, fire, and EMS)
Probably one of the high ranking deputy inspectors, fire Marshall’s, or another over paid big wig!
@@DBR00 yeah I’m incompetent and didn’t read the description it’s car 22C thanks for the help though
very good catch
what Engine was in the TSU 2 clip?
Looks like they gave all the kme engines to Staten Island
Great video man!!
Awesome video
Thanks!
Do you know how the FDNY uses their alarm system? Like is every fire there an instant 1st alarm or ? - Great catches tho!!
For the most part yes FDNY when they get box alarms they immediately go to a 1st from my knowledge I could be wrong tho

this siren fire truck : EQ2B rumbler and rescue : wail and yelp rumbler or not this is modern siren or old
Why did the FDNY start using Black suburbans - instead of the red with lines of yellow and white.
