It’s like he wants to just flat out say “please help me” but he’s too prideful to. But as the fight goes on and he fades more and more, I think it’s safe to say that he drops the attitude and goes into complete regret, as we hear when he’s crying out desperately for Kirby to save him. Plus I think “toy with you” is just Magolor’s snarky way of saying that he wishes to spend time with Kirby again, *playfully* teasing him. The Japanese translation does actually have him say “tease” instead of “toy”, so yeah, I think this is all still in-character for Mags, he just hasn’t quite learned humility yet, which Magolor Epilogue takes care of later.
Yeah, it's really sad and heartbreaking that you can hear Magolor crying for help in the second phase of Magolor Soul. And since I'm a Magolor fan, I felt heartbroken over this.

I was glad to hear this song in return to dreamland dx for the 1st phase of the fight against Magolor soul BUT I WAS NOT GLAD TO HEAR IT FOR THE SECOND PHASE
I still somewhat like "Under My Control" better than "CROWNED". It just resonates with me more. Though, I like "Supreme Ruler's Coronation" Better than both of them, because of the melodic changes and additions they made. Also, side note: I like Under My Control better than "Welcome Your New Overlord" as a name for the track.
This is still one of my favorite remixes from this game. Aside from just being an incredible medley, I think it's the Sky Tower/The Arena remix that really makes this one special. With Star Allies being so inspired by the unreleased Kirby GCN, having a remix of that game's trailer theme feels so... right, as if it was trying to pay homage to it in some sort of way.
God this is still so good. Dangerous Dinner, C-R-O-W-N-E-D, a bit of Fly! Kirby of the Stars!, and Road to Victory/Sky Tower. What a good representation of the finale of rtdl
This is my favorite Morpho Knight theme, and one of my favorite songs in the whole series. I think the original CROWNED is a bit overrated, but this just improves on every aspect by combining it with Dangerous Dinner, Ultimate Power, and even Sky Tower to create a medley that sounds imposing and epic, while also being beautiful. It feels like a full love letter to RTD and all its fans. I think the Music of star allies is under appreciated, the fact that it gave us tons of great remixes from every mainline Kirby game is simply amazing. (Edit: this is no longer my favorite morpho knight theme. I still think it's amazing but I like phantom of the moon's spirit even more.)

Any tracks which GCK_ or st_ (in lowercase only) at the start of their filenames are from the first build with helpers. KbyW_ would be the second build which had the pop-up book style.
Not only do I like this song, I enjoy Morpho knight as a character in general. Not only was this actually one of meta knight's base ideas for a gamecube game, but his background info makes for some good Kirby lore.

This song is pure nostalgia... I actually managed to beat Soul Melter EX solo using ONLY Magolor (no allies). Makes me wish I had this song playing while I did it...

The point is feeling the satisfaction of doing the hardest difficulty with only ONE character. :P lol I bet my record using Magolor and THREE of the Mage sisters tops your highest high score (if you ride your allies you can control them... in other words, you have three uses of the Mage sister's team attack special move... and usually by the time you use all three the first one will have refreshed).

This is the most CROWNED remix ever, & such a amazingly composed medley to Return to Dreamland as a whole. Makes me wish this was the version that got in Smash Ultimate in another d̶i̶m̶e̶n̶s̶i̶o̶n̶ timeline 😔
