rides on board the new Electric Articulated Beach Trams at Sentosa Island. They ply the beaches of Sentosa and are free to ride.
These trams are the successor and eventual replacement for the ageing (but better in every way) Volvo B12BLEA CDGE articulated trams that were built on a chassis originally meant for a bus. With a massive 12 Litre Diesel Engine paired to a ZF Ecomat Automatic gearbox, it sounds better than any electric motor could.
There is NO replacement for displacement! XD

Looks like a Cheep skape London Bendy
@@arfanfiras4565 noice
Why is the Volvo B12BLEA CDGE being retired?
Probably due to the government pushing for cleaner modes of transport for leisure travelling and save costs too
why does the bendy bus don't have plate number!!
hello polis.
!!!!
Hi glitchfan2428, just asking, how are we supposed to use SafeEntry at MRT/LRT Stations? Lets say we board at Pasir Ris and going to Tampines. Are we supposed to 1) Check-in at Pasir Ris then once we board the train, then check out, then check in again at tampines when we arrive then check out again once we leave station premises? Or 2) Check In at Pasir Ris then check out at Tampines without checkin in for tampines or checkin out for pasir ris? Pls clarify
Look fierce and cute
I thought LTA doesn't like bendy bus like this one?
these buses are operated by sentosa, plus they don't go on the public roads.
@@tib1236m, well I hope LTA will order bendy buses
@@ZC_Offcials same now whole singapore has left 55 units of bendy already the 40 units is the man a24 the 11 is mercedes hispano habit that is gonna scrap soon the the 3 is what it is in this vid the 1 is the volvo bendy tram
@@sgdemobushunter7394, ok
Y LTA hates bendy tho...
Are the Volvos still here though?
Yes, they are still here and quite a handful have been working with the new electric trams.
@@YaoboyProd2K15 Thanks, I already went there and filmed the Volvo anyways. ;)

The yellow one has been running for months already, the red one I believe just came out recently.
glitchFan2428 how did I not see when I went there 👁👄👁
Man the Volvo B12BLEA trams are so unique sia, sad the new trams are juz like ordinary trams:(. I'd prefer the rear resemblance of a bus...
ikr
Aircon?
No
No aircon but got fan at the roof
Trams where got aircon?
The suspension looks horrible though
Yes.
Super hard suspension and bumps all along
This is new.
Rip old trams
Glad you like the new Trâm this is Go Green project.
If you had read the description you'll have realised I actually don't like it at all 🤔
It looks cool
Is this Isuzu
Also today all beach tram got replaced by this
Nice one
This is basically a BYD K9 but Bendy version
hmm i would ride it after Covid.
nice
This one auto drive?
No la what u think driveless then all bus enthusiast raid this place like area 51
It's look lile the city trams from oversea
Honest opinion: these buses are not bad by some means except the engine.
And that this bus jolt super hard at every cranny and horn is so SHARP pitch.
Now: WHERES THE LEGENDARY PURPLE TRAM WITH STAGE LIKE SEATS
Lacks the power the Volvo B12BLEA tram has, it's a pure bus. And, I hate the whining electric motor noise. Basically you can buy this on Alibaba. Just go to their webpage and search "双节车厢电动穿梭巴士”. You'll get this.☹️
look like legendary bus
Wah no lisence leh
I would rather get a NG363F over this.
Agreed!!
@@glitchFan2428 I know Sentosa wants to be eco-friendly, but riding this tram well feels quite hot, enclosed and kind of slow despite the torquey acceleration.
electric curli looongboi
Vj chitra
haha electric tram go-
Wuwwww
Electric tram go REEEEEEEEE
Nah,the Volvo is better than this
Same
Any bus can lah if this bus got scrapped then we also sad mah
@@sgdemobushunter7394 ik
Kinda agree
Agreed
What an ugly bus! I Miss the old one
Indeed the older Volvo beach trams are much better
glitchFan2428 indeed😎
@@glitchFan2428 the suspension junp alot when hitting those small tiny bumps
This is not bendy this is a trailer
Bendy in this sense is the colloquial term, it is what's known to most local enthusiasts as a bendy, the more appropriate term is articulated which I used in the title. As you can see the rear axles turning are only able to be controlled by the front and hence cannot be operated independently.
At First i know the bendy on buses have a rubber turn i didn't know it can controlled tram by the rear
Seems weird that they're using right-handed buses for left-handed roads
Wait really?
