However, I'm surprised by how quick he is. When I watched him initially it looked he was quite slow, but he can shift. Plus, he's a very decent ball player, although hasn't showcased it at all this season due to the way Everton build up. Decent talent for sure. But something that's interesting is that you nor I are the only ones who didn't think Branthwaite would develop as much as he has this season. Southgate said it himself a few weeks back that he didn't expect this as Branthwaite was on the bench for the U21's just last summer and within a few months is performing as one of the best CB's in the league.

Well that’s what a big club like city does . Imagine we have a big player to come in for Casemiro when he’s injured we will be fine now but whenever Casemiro is out of the team we struggle so learn from that

Just going by physical attributes alone, would probably be a good partner for Licha.. United need more of a physical presence in the team. They have 1 small CB and pretty much the rest of the team other than Hojlund are all a bit on the smaller side.
