I process chapstic tubes that way and use them for match cases. They hold 7 large waterproofed strike anywhere matches by alternating the heads up and down, a birthday candle fits in the center and a few model will actually allow you to carry a compressed cotton ball under the lid. Great tutorial.

Love it! Your videos should be required watching in elementary and high schools. College and Senior Citizen schools too. Learning to use your brain is a much needed survival school, and you are performing a desperately needed public service. God bless America! I almost threw away a bunch of old chapstick I had, but now I have many uses for it. I can't say thanks enough. Thanks.

I use it under my nose when I have a cold and have to blow my nose a lot. Much cheaper than fancy premoisterized tissue and frankly works better. I can use the roughest dollar tree tissue or toilet paper and never get a rash under my nose.

Rub this around the inside of screw on food jars, keeps the lid from sticking. Rub a light coat over the inside of Tupperware container to keep it from staining. Use on pets paw for emergency burns from hot concrete or cuts. I just found your channel, I like it! I’ve got a brother that is a huge prepper, I am gonna recommend this channel to him! I see you have a USMC knife, if you served in the armed forces a big thank you! If no, then thanks for making this channel anyways!! 😁🤗

Another good use is a loose or dirty 8mm stereo or mono phono jack rubbing a small amount on shaft helps reduce noise. I just did this on my warn out laptop phono jack and it reduced static noise to almost none at all. Good for cleaning the contacts and preventing oxidation at the same time.

Another great super small prep that does almost everything you can do with chap stick is candles, specifically the tiny tea light candles. There are so many things you can do besides the obvious burning a candle for light.

This might seem strange, but I use a Chapstick tube in my Urban Altoids EDC to carry deodorant. I simply bought a stick of deodorant, cut off the chapstick (I saved and melted it onto a spoon and put it in another container - waste not, want not), then essentially bored the empty chapstick tube down into the deodorant, and wiped away the excess. I marked it CLEARLY - wouldn't want to put it on my lips. It might seem strange to some people, but I'm in an urban environment and not tactical, and in the event of a survival situation, moral is a big issue, and for me, being able to put on some deodorant would be a real boost.

My Boy Scout Troop always kept the medicated Chapstick in their pocket first aid kits. As well as protecting lips from being chapped, it also works as ointment for cuts, and it is spf 15 sunscreen, which can be put on your nose and ears when you feel them getting sunburned. I have always kept a stick in my tackle box.

use chapstick on the first 2 to 3 foot of fishing line if you don't have a float. wax is obviously waterproof and will cause that light line to float for worm fishing or whatever you have.

Take a small pan, melt the contents of a tube, then dip in a length of absorbent string, remove string and remove excess chap stick after it cools since it doesn't set like hard wax, then wrap around bic lighter for fire starter or a stiff wick to reach in to hard to reach places such as lighting a Firebox stove or a deep candle in a jar. Any where you need flame that is hard to reach. Always right there on the lighter.
