Guys, don't use the bug. not because of ethics or a possible ban. If something is too hard for you, good. With nothing to shoot for, the game will just become stale for you. I would prefer if there was actually more "impossible" content we could all strive for. At worsk, you will get there at the next level uncap/ power creep.
It literally just cancels 1 single attack. Its not like you can keep doing it throughout the entire fight. You still gotta survive the other 99% of the fight. I just feel like it makes almost no impact whatsoever.
@PayneBlade yeah I get that, I just figured if you could not survive the 1st one then you probably would not survive the end without the bug. I don't think I have the patience for all that though haha. I still have not tried Bahamut EX1 along with this one with Tifa & Tiger Fangs. I have Kuja's Spirit Blade OB1, so it can only do Mid at most. I just don't feel comfortable swapping Seph out for her because he is soooo much stronger. Maybe I should just swallow my pride and give it a go.
The biggest issue in this fight is literally the first two attacks where your healing pot won't be high enough to survive ifrits attack after bahamuts, well for me anyway. After this attack the fight turns into EX1 making it quite easy. It is pretty huge.
Using the glitch means not needing to equip Guard Stick, allowing you to equip Sun Umbrella to increase your DPS. It's one thing to be able to barely survive all of the big attacks, it's another thing to have the DPS to clear the fight before you get wiped.

It stops a full megaflare which is pretty huge considering you can then just focus on the hellfire

@BFeast-jd5xq why would you equip Guard Stick in any of your main hands anyways? I figure most people go with Fairy Tale/Sun Umbrella already.

I saw a video of the bug fight a couple days ago. Hopefully it gets patched soon and there are repercussions for anyone who abused it.
There weren't any repercussions for people who glitched Ramuh, so it's unlikely this situation will be any different.
of course not, why would you punish people for using/exploiting a bug that wasn't their fault?
