I heard Savova many times in Lisbon in the eighties (Turandot, Gioconda, Fidelio, Tosca and Aida), as well as abroad (Ballo in Maschera at the Met) and she had a wonderful voice, although with i big tremolo/wobble. This production had allready been shown in 1981 and she was in better voice in 1981.
beautiful voice..
Bravo
RIP 💙🙏🥂🍀🎶🎶😞
R.I.P. Galina Savova, 1940-2020

Tremolo is a totally another thing than wobble. Here there is no wobble but maybe a tremolo.
@@draganvidic2039 I don't hear a tremolo but rather a quicker, old school vibrato.
That's a tremolo. It adds an immediacy to her vocalizing, which for me, adds incredible excitment to her expressiveness.
Heard her in Buenos Aires in 1993.
Os tempos em que se cantava a sério em S.Carlos.
Il heard her at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie in 1985.
Incredible High C from Bartolini, holding it even longer than Savova
