This looks rly juicy, but I've got 1 question. Obviously Lake of Fire is better than Demonic Tactics. Changing to these runes/ talents means losing 15% crit. I also don't know if my pet goes oom since i'm playing horde and we have no wisdom. What are your thoughts on this? Losing that amount of crit is irrelevant?
you should not have imp issues unless boss last more than 2 mins. 2 mins 20 seconds ish with minor recombobulator trinket. even with no wisdom. also crit is obviously great but the 40% fire dmg is unmatched. even if u keep this up 60-75% of the time it will outweigh the crit!
Does your own spell power and fire spell power increase the imps dmg? Also would it be best to get a mage with improved scorch in your raid for the fire dmg buff?
Pre position it on the boss platform as your group kills adds. When you summon on the boss platform tell your imp to stay Phase shift it so it doesn’t pull when the boss becomes active.

@@Enslavedgames All good. Just was mentioning I maintain the build list on warlock discord for SoD and updated several builds to use Imp yesterday. It had slipped past me until then that the world buff is crazy on the imp. Your video is good! As to what I added, just in case you didn't know, all pets get 15% of your largest spell power school as generic spell power, so if you had 100 shadow and 50 fire dmg, an Imp would get 15 damage for his firebolt. Also they gain spell damage from demonic pact, if you happen to have a pact lock in your party. Another thing you can do is use Minor Recombobulator on him to give him 200 extra mana on a 5 min CD. Not amazing, but can definitely help you push your parse on specific bosses. Lastly, imps have a delay between casts, so even with 2/2 improved firebolt, there's a 0.2-0.4 sec gap between them. Check your imp's casts timeline on logs and you'll see it. The main way people deal with this is using a firebolt cast macro either in all of their spells, or as a dedicated macro they mash constantly so that he's prompted to chain cast instead of pause. Some people put the dedicated macro on their mouse wheel and just constantly spin it. With the macro and recombobulator you can probably get another 25%+ dps from him. Good luck.

Also that is some top tier information and I was not aware of the demonic pact stacking as well as the delay in the imps cast. This is a huge callout. I will be making some macros to compensate and try it out in practice. Thank you for the info that is some seriously useful information!

Yes, sit in DARN shortly before your raid with your imp out the world buff will drop and your imp will get the buff for 2 hours

Unfortunately mate they recently patched this and now pets can no longer receive world buffs :(
