Hey Amie, I just got myself a mini alexa (bag twin, yay!) and while I agree that opening/closing it properly is rather complex, I find that if the bag is fairly stuffed, it's easier to use the turnlock bcs you don't have to smoosh the flap in as far as you'd do with an empty bag. Mine is in chestnut and I just can't get over it, it's so beautiful and a timeless classic!
Hello! The only wear and issue is because the leather is so soft it does loose it’s structure on the bottom. It will start to slouch on the front in the corners. I recommend keeping it stuffed and that should help alleviate the issue. Love the blue color. I hoping TB adds some colors for Spring.
The Kira is soo beautiful and I feel like the blue may be the perfect pop of color. I haven't bought the bag yet but I do have the pink Kira cardholder and I've used it everyday since I got it in September. No complaints, still soft and pretty and no signs of wear and tear yet. 😊
The Tory Burch Kira bag is beautiful and very soft. You can add a felt bag organizer for added structure otherwise it will crease due to the strong magnetic closure. The colour is stunning!

All beautiful bags ❤️ I love Tory Burch designs. They are often inspired by the bigger fashion houses. I do hesitate to buy them online though because sometimes what you order is not exactly what you receive. One wallet I got was narrower than what was in the picture and one bag was a lobster red when it looked more burgundy online. I live in Australia and there's no store where I live. So only buy Tory when I travel since those incidents. So if you are considering Tory Burch and it's not cheap to return items from where you live, I suggest heading into the store to avoid surprises. Xx

Happy New Year, Amie! Thanks for doing the reviews. My one concern about the Tory Burch Kira is how the straps are only attached to the flap. That type of design tends to get the flap pointy over time as it bears the brunt of the bag's weight, especially when full. Interested to hear if this is your experience after constant use.
I have had the TB Kira for over a year and I had no issues so far. It is my go to crossbody for running quick errands. I am still unsure about Senreve Alunna - It looks very trendy but not sure how easy it would be to get things in and out.

I love my Kira! I've used it quite a bit and you do not necessarily have to be as "careful" with the leather... I recommend a base shaper so the bottom corners don't lose its shape... I made my own out of cardboard boxes 😂 and that has really helped. I do agree that the magnetic closure doesn't "snap" unless it's lined up, but that's not a big deal to me. I like that you don't have to to be so careful with it and it doesn't scratch easily. The price point is just too good to pass up. When you did your initial recommendation of it, I was able to get it brand new in the light grey (Grey heron) for only $322 USD (include tax!!! So almost 45% off) thank you for the rec! It's a great bag for causal or dressy occasions and very very roomy and light weight. 🙌
So I also have the Kira but the smaller version - the leather is oh so soft, but does scratch pretty easily which bugs me. Then the gold plating scratches so easily - I have the version of the bag where it has a turn-lock thing. I've had the bag for maybe 3-4 months and I still love it but no longer bring it to work since I have to shove it into my backpack to put it away. >_
I have the kira woc and definitely noticed some corner wear since the leather is so soft. I did a review on it talking about the hardware and leather. Still love the Kira collection though 💕
I find the senreve aria bag which has the same closure as the rest of the senreves difficult to close even though the magnet is strong i have to use both hands to pull them to close proximity
I have a LOT of purses, Tory Kira shoulder bag is one of my favorite, it can fit a lot of things yet still looking awesome. However, I have used mine only for a few months and because of Covid19, I don’t even go out often, the bottom corners are already worn out.
I have two of the original mini alexas. Don’t have the same issue with the turn lock but again it don’t lock it fully when in and out. They are great bags though.

I haven't yet - I've really only been wearing it with coats (it's been cold!) so not really felt the need. I may do when the warmer weather comes around though. If I do, I'll likely use Collonil Pro :)

Thanks for the video. I have been waiting for this. I’m not really a fan of Senreve as it appears to all over social media, however this particular style I love. Love love the Alexa especially in the nano size. The Kira I fear will not hold up well. I think it might have same issue with the Chanel single flap which is the reason they had to update it with the double flap. All in all great video Amie.
Definitely has the same sort of look, i.e. chain strap, shoulder bag etc. I do think it's a good buy if you can nab it on sale but full price, it's priced a little high IMO. If you can nab it on sale though, I'd say go for it :)

The slouch isn't really there at the base so you'd have to get a full length organiser to see any benefit at the top. Definitely an option if you don't mind compromising a bit of space! :)

I have the Tory Burch has camera bag in that leather and it has worn very well, I do not baby bags and the leather has held up amazingly.
