That's a good lookin saw!! Sounds pretty good too! I don't care much for Chinese motors in my work equipment but the last few reviews on that saw have impressed me. Thanks for filming!
Not much Chinese about it. Its a discontinued Husqvarna saw that husky sold the rights to Holtzfforma. The piston is an Italian meteor with Caber rings all as good as ome, cylinder is Italy tech Nikasil, carby is genuine Walbro, plug is NGK. The only thing Chinese is the covers and the fact you should locktite and tighten every screw and bolt and make sure the air intake is all clean, and tune it well then its as good value as you will ever get
Got the same one too. It’s a great saw. Cuts tons of firewood. All I had too do is adjustable carburetor and change out the gas cap it leak a lil. Other then that. Nothing wrong with mines. A honest 1year review
I have the Farmmac version of this saw and I am having issues tuning mine. I almost dropped an oak log on it today to put it out of it's misery. I think ill try putting a walbro carb on mine before I do that.
They maybe i dont know about the full wraps i have only had them on oem saws but thats good to know i dont run full wraps any more as the kind of hinder me when im falling for logs
I ran Huskey saws for more than 20 years. Looks like a husky and sounds like one no difference to me. I'm buying one today. I just wanted to know if the 372xp pro any better than the 372xp?
Yes it has better internals, that are better than the husky originals, has Itallian Meteor piston with caber rings, Italy Tech Nikasil cylinder, original Walbro carb, NGK plug. not much chinese in it. just clean it out, loctite screws
Ive looked for it at our rural king and they were out idk if they got anymore or not i even tried website i try to buy 10 gallons and they wouldnt let the order go through
Just checked it 7/8 on the low 3/4 on the high but its been a few weeks since i ran it there extremely fat from the factory the low is actually about one turn out its just a fuzz shy of 1 turn out
There’s one pretty close by I try to order some cam 2 or something like that on line and get it shipped to store and they canceled it but I’ll check in store thanks for the info 👍
I second rural king bar oil. Although now it's 8 or 9 bucks a gallon. Right now they have the Gard brand instead of cam2 and I think I like it better. Seems a little more sticky but it still runs out of the saw pretty quick when not in use.
@@MitchellsBackyardLogging Whaaat?? Why would you do that? We need to know how that saw is doing. You put alot of effort into. I was just messing with you earlier. That was pretty smart to go ahead and open it up for inspection before operating it. I don't think I would have gone that deep into an inspection. In fact I know I would not have. We consumers depend on these things to be ready to go when we get the box, right? You just proved that wrong. Thanks.
@@horacesawyer2487 no problem i ran it some before i did give away but i know other people that run these saws with pretty decent luck after a few up grades
That's even more expensive though, isn't it? I've put used motor oil in mine. Probably not the best thing for the little oiler but it worked in a pinch.
Wrap the handle w a lil hockey tape , I haven’t seen a lot of reviews on these pro versions, but the reg 372xp versions I have n everyone seems to be real happy w them
Find a diesel shop, use their used oil for the bar and chain. A lot of timber camps do this after changing the excavator/processor/skidder oils. Free is much cheaper than $12/gal
The X-torq handle is bigger than the OE handle. But since the "patent" is still active and China 🇨🇳 doesn't ever do anything wrong nor illegal.... why would they ever do that.
@@MitchellsBackyardLogging It's all fun and games until you slip , just cut with the chain pointing at 46 degree up , this way the tree doesn't move and you're stable on the ground. Believe it or not , feet are kinda cool to have. Both of them.

Mine has been farely decent
The pro has walbro carburetor, meteor top end and some other high end stuff, deffinetly a damn steal of a saw
Have you had any tuning problems with the holzforma 372 Xp pro saw?
I did not it tuned well
@@MitchellsBackyardLogging thanks Wes I been having trouble with the orange 372 holding a tune.looks like the pro saws have good carburetor’s on them.
original Walbro and most of the engine is italian@@timfunk5084

Just use regulär rapeseed oil. As long as you dont leave it sitting for ages IT works great

The X-torq handle is bigger than the OE handle. But since the "patent" is still active and China 🇨🇳 doesn't ever do anything wrong nor illegal.... why would they ever do that.
Makes sense
X torque handle is bigger because the cylinder is taller and has more cooling fins. So the handle and top cover attendance taller.
@@jackylsmith8138 correct by 10mm. I believe. The brake handle is taller as well to compensate for the highth difference.
Not true, the patent was sold by husky to holtzfforma once the saw was discontinued. both husky and stihl do the same
Blows right through a bunch of half rotten softwood. 😂
Thats not soft wood i dont cut soft wood very often and its not rotten highly seasoned so jokes on you
