Tayari and Jabali did not get much treat in "birthday party" , the keeper gave Tayari an apple and Jabali a larger cucumber in the following meal time. 😀

Big daddy homed in very quickly on his well deserved Birthday treat 😊 Poor little Jabali looks on in envy as daddy enjoys a fruit banquet, I hope he got something on his Birthday. Tayari makes a few half hearted attempts to help herself but wisely thought better of it 😆

Yes. Momotaro is separated from wife and children when they have a birthday so they can have their birthday treats.

昨天生日趴辦得很成功, 大家都邊看邊拍得很開心, 大猩猩們也很開心, 有人吃到有人看到聞到特別又這麼多的食物總是一件開心的事. 希望將來能多多辦類似的活動. 昨天見識到了大猩猩完全不分享的文化, 寧可把自己撐死也不會放棄到手的食物. 所以將來希望食物能分成三份, 或是壽星先出來, 隔一陣子再把其他隻放出來. 若在室內辦遊客比較不容易看到, 且也比較不好拍攝, 所以還是希望能在戶外辦.

I don't know why it bothers me so much that the others, especially the babies don't get to enjoy yummy treats. They watch and salivate as dad enjoys all of it.
Don't worry. The little ones may not get food in outside, but they will be feed well in inside.
