It's really sad that people tuned in and supported Harry during the Omegle Bars phase, only for most of those numbers to drop when Harry tries something new. Seems that people go where the 'hype' is and a lot of channels actually formed a following off reaction videos, only to ditch Harry going forwards. These songs have all been great, and Harry is testing his technique in every song just like he did in the OB series. Hope people see what they're missing out on
Not true. Imo not a single written song he has released so far is nearly as impressive or catchy as anything he freestyled in the OB series. I still watch most of his videos and like them because I genuinely believe that he should be free to do what he loves and deserves our support. However, I find myself struggling to vibe with any of the songs he's released so far. I can barely reach the end of the video most of the time. And I usually find quite a few people resonating with this sentiment in the comments.
@@arnavsinghal1785 isn't that a personal opinion though rather than the general consensus? You're speaking like you talk for everyone, when other people might find them catchier than you do. The whole point of OB was for interactivity, making things up for specific people and you had the face to face conversations. Harry testing his writing is more for his improvement of skill when writing, they're 2 completely different things.

I believe that Harry has lost a lot of engagement on his videos because people simply liked his OB freestyles better and not because they're following the 'hype'.
I just wanted to counter your viewpoint because it kinda dismisses a sentiment that is shared by myself and many other viewers on this channel (not the majority, but still).
@@arnavsinghal1785 I mean a lot of people did follow the hype, look at the viewership that being into the OB series got a lot of TH-cam channels, now it's not making them money they've turned their attention away from it (which happens for a lot of things, like Eminem album drops for example). I understand that OB hits differently to written songs due to the engagement, but that doesn't mean he should lose support because of that. He should be able to experiment as an artist and try new things, having genuine fans and people that stick around. It was just your comment that people agree with you, but everyone's individual and whoever agrees with you, there will always be people that don't. That's just the internet.
Also, in my opinion I think the writing is a lot more layered, meaning he's able to actually blend his words and say a lot more unique things than in the OB series. I found OB to be entertaining, but his flows and bars were a lot more repetitive (because he's purely freestyling), this for me works because I enjoy listening to music as well as the technicality of his raps. Just seems a shame he has to keep his content on the simpler side to engage the audience

I love your flow and there is no denying the absolute skill. What I especially like in this one is the story-telling in the back half. I feel like a lot of your tracks have the same basic idea of "showing off" (not in a bad way, that's the core spirit of rap) and talking about working for your dream, but I'd love to hear more of your passions and opinions on stuff.
