Welcome to another Brick Cruncher review. This time I'll be looking at Lego Star Wars Magazine Issue 106. In this video, we take a closer look at the latest Coruscant Guard Paper Bag, set 912403 which comes with a Lego Minifigure (sw1305) of the same name.
The magazine in the video is the Spanish issue but for those of you in the UK, Lego Star Wars Magazine 106 is due out in the UK in early April 2024 and will come with the same limited edition paper bag, 912402. The Spanish issue was released at the end of February. The front cover is marked as Number 106 - 02/2024.
The magazine is once again filled with entertaining activities and thrilling features that are sure to delight young Star Wars and Lego enthusiasts alike. And don't forget, there's also a special double-sided poster with a Lego Star Wars theme included. Just keep in mind that this magazine is designed for kids. 😉
The video also includes an image of the next issue's paper bag, and the good news is it's another minifigure.
In the video I preview the Lego Star Wars Magazine 106, open the Coruscant Guard Minifig Paper Bag, look at the parts and showcase the finished Lego minifigure. I also look at the previous Shock Trooper Coruscant Guard Minifigures.

The head of the coruscant guard is the same as captain rex's from the venator or the y wing with the only difference being that captain rex has a white like rectangle In the top left part of his head
@MiG_Destroyer457 Thanks for pointing out the subtle difference between the two minifig heads. I don't have the Captain Rex Y-Wing yet so I've not really looked at the figure too closely. It's on my list so I'll be sure to check the heads out when I get it 👍
British Lego magazines on their way to put £300 set figures into a £4.99 Magazine
@madmikefollower6939 yes definitely. I think it is a double edged sword...good if you are an army builder, casual collector or have kids...BUT not so good if you are a Lego investor.

Are these likely to go up in value much over time if kept sealed do you think
@LewisBakerx *this is not financial advice* but I don't think they will go up significantly given that this minifigure is already in the Battle Pack which will be available for a while. Having said that people do collect these sealed Paper Bags so I think there will always be a demand for it...how much people will pay is the unknown. The recent Stormtrooper Paper Bag 912309 has an average selling price of £6.12, $8.69 and 5.85€ on Bricklink at the moment. I think the Coruscant Guard is a better minifigure and maybe that will be reflected in the value, but only time will tell.
No, the only ones you should keep in the bags are the ones they don’t release in store / box’s, example is darth raven
