Loved this! You are a beautiful soul Melanie. I have such a similar testimony and I loved how you put into perspective that one is always looking for healing and trying to heal deep inner trauma on the path of the new age. Constantly not feeling good in one way or the other, some days feeling terrible, this can leave us searching for a so called miracle healing tool for years and years even with dietary changes and "healthy" spiritual practices. But the missing key and the part of the equation we never put into our lives was Jesus. After surrendering to Jesus and having him fill our hearts we no longer are searching nor suffering. Much love, thank you for sharing.

I’m grateful for your testimony. I also want to say modern medicine has prevented so many deaths of women and children, and despite corruption being present, it’s important to be logical.

    Why do we seek?
Is there any reason to seek a better future
if we're fully comfortable and content
with the way our body feels now?
    When thoughts slow down,
you may notice that there is discomfort in the body,
which may show up in a myriad of ways:
pain, anxiety, anger, or any other sensation or emotion...
This is part of the reason that we get addicted to thought-
because it’s an immediately available way
to avoid or try to fix
    the way our bodies feel.
We won't be able to rest in presence for very long
if we keep ignoring or avoiding discomfort.
Rather, we'll continue to follow thoughts about past and future...
    We'll keep trying to escape...
So, how do we bring direct attention to the energies of our body?
The first step is to acknowledge that you are feeling something.
We tend to acknowledge emotions and sensations first through the mind...
We might think, "I’m angry," or "I’m afraid of what might happen,"
or we may simply notice that something is bothering us...
But we can't feel emotions or sensations through thinking.
These thoughts are narratives or labels for how we feel.
They are not the actual energies themselves.
For example, if you have the thought "I have a stomachache,"
that thought is a label for something that is actually happening in your body...
In order to actually feel or experience the stomachache directly,
you would have to bring attention down into the stomach area
and feel it without thoughts on it...
The same is true for all emotions and sensations.
Once you acknowledge that you feel something
or have been triggered by someone or some event,
bring attention very gently to the body
where you feel the actual emotion or sensation...
With your attention there, feel into the sensation or emotion,
and see if you can notice the peripheral space around it at the same time.
Let the emotion or sensation just hang there in that open space,
without trying to change, neutralize, or get rid of it.
It is common to want to change, neutralize, or get rid of bodily energies.
Just notice any tendency to want to do these things.
    This is resistance at work,
and trying to stop that resistance from happening
    is simply adding more resistance.
Bear in mind that we give power to words, pictures, and bodily energies
by turning awareness away from them.
And we diminish their power by turning toward them
and remaining aware of them until they fade naturally.
    That one simple understanding,
if turned into a daily practice,
    is highly transformative.

Melanie is a very clear example of someone who has “done the work”. The often very unpleasant, hurtful, and humiliating work of getting to REALLY know yourself. It’s the most rewarding thing I have ever done (other than being saved). If you don’t know yourself, you can’t share yourself. Jesus will guide you on this journey.

In the bible God did not create us perfectly to give birth. Giving birth was actually a punishment for our sins and supposed to be painful.

I don't agree with your conclusion about the birth process. Women's bodies are designed for birth, but we live in a fallen world... which means bad things can happen in birth. We have a couple from church that had a midwife and the baby's umbilical cord got wrapped around the babies neck...if she would have had the heart monitor, they would have caught it. But because they didn't know, she has severe learning disabilities... and the couple are strong Christians. It's just not worth ruining your child's life. But I'm glad it worked out for you.

New age religion took from eastern philosophy, a variety of mythologies and even mainstream religious doctrines to create a mostly disorganized belief system with a spiritual source. This "Source"" having a lot of similarities to deities. Similarly, as eastern and western religions will explain, meditating diligently upon Your CREATOR, THE CREATOR, assures a spiritual journey. Seek and you will know. Matthew 7-7 - 7-12.

I’ve seen that Jesus heals trauma. It’s a process, right? Everyone’s situation is unique istm, and that process can happen in an instant and does in some cases, but for most of us it’s a journey and series of steps to greater and greater freedom in Christ. I think what is important is surrender to Christ, learning to trust Him. Some traumas are deeper and more difficult to heal from than others, but I think what we must grasp is that nothing is beyond the help of Christ.

Jesus will empower you to heal yourself. He wants you to begin to see your trauma as a gift that you can use to help other people who are suffering through similar trauma. Using your trauma to heal others is the most effective method of healing yourself. Thank you for your honesty Jessica, we are praying for you and your boyfriend. ❤️
