Dave is and always will be my favorite comedian
💯 Poor IS a mentality and sometimes you never grow out of it, even if you’re wealthy…I feel bad for those people.
I know people from very poor countries who became successful in Europe.
They all bought way more food than they needed. The fear of not having enough food took them a very long time to overcome.
as a small child, I remember putting on 2 pair of socks and my pjs climbing under 3 blankets and balling up to get warm. when you said something the frost of your breath would show.
Your dad said the truth😊
Dave Chappelle is one of the greatest 😢
My dad said "if your cold go lay on the floor next to the wood stove"
Same😂 but the floors at my home were freezing so I would sit on a chair right next to the stove
What a great story teller!
Fuck, I love this guy. It doesn't even matter what he says, it's just his delivery.
Imagine living in a time where you have to apologize for doing what you do for a living. But God bless you David.
We didn't even have a thermostat
not much different if you arent allowed to use it
"'Poor' is a mentality. 'Broke' is a temporary financial state." Wow, Dave Ramsey says the exact same thing!!!
The un-skipable dad cutscene 😂
I've NEVER heard this joke before, knew where it was goin... and the delivery still surpassed my expectations 😂😂
His father's words still ring true today with “victim” mentality.
victim mentality is just a phrase that the rich use to keep the status quo and shame poor people even more than just calling them poor; it keeps the attention off them and blames poor people for keeping themselves poor.
“I’ll probably only make fun of you if I see myself in you”
Adds a new dimension to his skits about the trans community
Lol funny I was thinking the exact same thing before he brought up him being poor an example.
Well, he did date one - so he said in a skit once before . . .
Well as a black man in America, I'm sure he faced/faces discrimination, just like Trans folk do. But no, please explain how he really means he's a closet trans.
@@ladonmccabe you missed the joke... He said he can see himself *IN* you... as in, inside them (sexually if you still don't get it lol)
edit: also he dated a trans chick btw
@@ladonmccabe no he just mean that he is a man as well
Dave a legend 😂
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Dave had a very wise father. There is a difference between poor and broke.
