This has been a pet peeve of mine for certain Digimon and I’m glad to see more of those Digimon getting some attention. There’s certainly a few manga exclusive Digimon that I’d like to see properly integrated.
about bakomon: it's placement in the newest card game's 6th booster almost feels like it hints as being the wood equivalent to flamon/strabimon (cardboard is made from trees)... another interesting thing about the card is it's artwork, where it's featured with nyaromon & meicoomon, almost as if it's hinting to be a tie-in between the 2 digimon. that would make sense, as stray kittens usually find shelter in boxes. obviously neither of the 2 is a confirmed evolution, though.
I always thought that Betsumon looked incredibly unsettling, and to be honest. He somehow manages to look slightly less creepy when he is wearing something other than his Gatomon costume. If he gets a digivolution, I hope they manage to tone down his creepiness a bit. Yoyomon straight up looks like a Badnik from Sonic! His extra Yoyos look like Sonic bumpers! I really wish Footmon could have different stages inspired by Inazuma Eleven. I remember Panbachimon being made out kind of a big deal back when he was announced to appear in the Xros Wars... And he only showed up for like one episode, with very little lines. Bon is a very strange Digimon... If he even qualifies as one. Specially considering how stuff like his level, his type and even a proper Digimon name are one giant question mark.

I always thought a good evolution for Bacomon would be Mimicmon. Going from box to a box cage and what it looks like in it's cage is still a mystery just like Bacomon. Breaks away from craft theme but still continues along the box theme. xD
Betsumon feels like the Wario of Digimon maybe it's the head but rinkmon digivolving into footmon makes sense pyontomon- jaxmon (misspelling of jackalope) -capinmon(a portmanteau of capoeira and lapin) -hermesmon (a gold rabbit-themed armour speedy fighter with bladed gauntlets and knees just with the humour of bugs bunny)
I actually made a Fan-Digivolution of Datirimon which is a cyber-ish Butterfly named Batterflymon. Because Oikawa turned into a bunch of white butterflys at the end of 02, so I usd that as reference.
It would be cool if we see Bacomon digivolve into Mimicmon. Both have that theme of being able to trap other beings inside of them so it would sorta fit

First, why is Dragomon an Ultimate/Perfect Digimon when it's based on Lovecraftian cosmic horror gods Dagon and Cthulthu... and why doesn't it evolve into something even more horrific? that one bothers me too. always thought dragomon needed a unique mega form. but, tbh i always viewed dragomon as gesomon's natural solo evolution. comparing it to how ikkakumon changes, when it evolves to zudomon, it kinda makes sense to me. marinedevimon i always viewed as a logical jogress between gesomon and devimon rather than gesomon's main ultimate (ironically in the vpets marinedevimon was a natural evolution and dragomon a jogress)
@@Bezaliel13 it most likely isn't. as far as we can tell, its earliest appearance was on the digimon pendulum - deep savers, where it could further jogress into pukumon to become mega level. it's first anime and card game appearance happened even later.
Calumon can digivolve in one of the videos I’ve read on wikimon, he becomes Salamon so most likely would follow the Gatomon Angewomon line. So I guess Calumon is a girl?

I think aquestamon and blucomon might be brothers or closely releated as both are ice dragon digimon, infact I think blucomon could go a slightly different route, and replace paledramon with aquestamon but have the same next two levels of cyrspaledramon then hexeblaumon

I LOVE Bacomon! Ever since I first saw it I immediately fell in love. I'm getting my hopes up, but it'd be cool if a lot of these Digimon got into Digimon Survive and were given families then. I don't see it happening, but imagine if the reason the damn game got delayed for three years was because they were adding so many underutilized Digimon.
I saw someone use Datirimon as a Baby for Budmon. Since her In-Training is shown, but not her Baby, and the greenness and fruit/veggie/plant connection, it makes sense.
i appreciate this video, you taught me alot of stuff i wouldnt have known about otherwise! i agree with this that everyone should belong to an evolution line, only thing i will say on top of that is that i am soo thankful for digimon for remaining a bit sensibly condensed...unlike pokemon adding characteristics to inanimate objects and calling them pokemon -_-
One digimon I'd love to see digivolve is Kyupimon or Cupimon. It digivolves from Puttimon but doesn't digivolve into anything. Would love to see a whole line.
One is missing from this list for me: Frigimon. I want him to get a line finally. YukiAgumon as Rookie is weird but okay. But past Frigimon? Nothing remotely resembling him that keeps the snow-theme going...if anything even that keeps the snow theme going exists.
So for betsumon maybe have a "drama" themed line? Maybe with the masks of comedy and tragedy giving it more ligit forms/ being incorporated into the design? Judt some random thoughts 😁

I still feel the remaining Beast Spirits need a double spirit evolution speaking specificly of the Evil Spirits. Honestly, some of the Double Spirit Evolution that exist need to be fixed like a Snowbear fusing with a Yeti doesn't seem to make much sense to turn into a Penguin. I know Digimon make no sense, but come on. the evolutions of Agnimon and Garumon set up the standarts for such forms. But i guess there were designed with Double Spirit in mind unlike Ranamon or something.
Datirimon can actually be either a baby level Digimon or a trainee level Digimon. Either digivolving into Chapmon or Tanemon as a baby level, or into Lalamon as a trainee

Ngl I always thought detirimon would evolve into chapmon then kamemon, which would fit thematically with Oikawa’s story a bit, first being kind and innocent, then after his friend’s death he became protective of himself shutting out everyone else, then after a long time in self regret, he goes into a depression (which could be symbolized by Sagomon as an ultimate), then after coming to terms with life and sacrifices himself for the world he loves, his mega could be xanwumon (different to the one guarding the digital world)
piddomon needs one in all honesty. its a champion level angemon alternate that doesnt have a form past champion. with all the prefixes that can be given to established lines, maybe a magna or mega piddomon ultimate and a more melee combat oriented high angel like raphaemon off raphael the arcangel with a sword staff or gabrimon off gabriel.
I waited through the entire add segment and when he counted to 0 seconds I was like alright number 1 and immediately an add came up and I was like bruh haha 😂
What about hudiemon? I mean it’s attack name is a tribute to the late koji wada it deserves something more than the random digimons it can evolve into in cyber sleuth, something unique, if it’s not an evolution then at least a form change or something
I always thought Pipimon/Datirimon could be one of my possible digimon partners from the moment I first saw it and I've been waiting years for it to finally digivolve somehow. I kinda see Alraumon or Pomumon. More Pomumon because it kinda looks like an unripe berry and pomumon is ripe...

I feel like Datirimon should digivolve into Chapmon. Chapmon doesn't have a unique baby form and I feel Datirimon just fits with that line.
