Dog blankets and crocheting straight edges
Welcome to my weekly ramblings on my knitting and crochet projects. This week I finished a pair of socks. I'd completed the knitting bit but just had to sew in the ends. I used a helical technique using up some odd bits of sock yarn ( from WYS and the Yarn Badger). I also completed one sock using the Great tit sock yarn from Mothy and the Squid.
I've made good progress on the dog blanket. I'm using my stash of aran yarn using a pattern from the internet. I've given up on the pattern as it is written so badly. However I'm loving the way it working. I've changed colour half way through as, after weighing the blanket half way through I worked out that I wouldn't have enough of the pink. I like the contrast in colours.
